1. Jazz and audience in the same paragraph?
2. It's only a matter of time before you get a ceramic Stingray five Jose Ceramic sting. Series position sting. Fat neck that you like.
3. There's a Thin Lizzy and a Judas priest pun there surely?

5. 1-yes but with a pickup selector and some have ceramic pickups. 2-yes. 3-yes.
6.
It appears that the queen of bass face is appearing with her sisters tonight. Yep, Haim are amongst the guests; goodo!
Looking forward to it.
7. That's still sat on a 1x10 without any overhang either.
8. Yes weighs nothing really, feels like an empty box!
9.
This looks way better than a standard Stingray 5 with elongated pickguard .I just wish they make the classic 5 with HS configuration. And congratulation!!This is one the best looking vintage basses
Fairly easy to fit an extra pickup I suppose and thanks
10. Crazy bargains, I bought my SB320 for over £500 in 1997, a couple of years later they were over £700! And you know what? They were still well made for that price bracket.
11. Nice! Might be worth putting the D string back behind the string tree though
12. 20 knobs and 8 buttons, footswitch controller, para mids for low and high mid on both channels, there's fx loops for each channel and a global loop on the back along with a good switchable DI output, tuner send etc etc etc on the rear panel.
13. Here's my collection
14. Yes it's in two halves with full controls for each channel then it also has a global output with low, mid and hi plus preshapes, knobs galore!
15. Cripes chief!
16. I've always struggled with the both pickups on with a jazz bass, I've put an active circuit in mine too.
17. BB Kind typo if your reading this Mr swift
18. I wonder who's got the heaviest jazz bass, I've played a 15lb one once!
19. Nah get a Stingray like were thinking in the first place
20. I think it's over the hill and stuffy enough to be perfect for a bit of stereotypical prog, I'd imagine must younger people would almost expect it to be on there.
21. No they don't but you can do what I did by getting a Shuttlemax 9.2 which is a twin channel head, one FET and one tube, basically a 900 watt version of the shuttle 3.0. I've got a 3.0 a 6.0 and the 9.2 Max, I think the 3.0 sounds the best! Tubes and heft?, meh
22. I think any Wal would do the same thing though? I'm not sure I'd pay any extra for it as he's not seen playing it much although that hasn't stopped Fender releasing the stack knob that he hasn't played for ages as his sig model. I'd probably buy a five string version of the FendeRay he currently plays live if they released that.
23. Excellent, enjoy
24. As a serial British Leyland botherer I have to combine imperial, metric whitworth, unf & unc etc and all on one car! Good old British engineering
