For sale is my Fender USA Standard Jazz bass from 2000. The colour is Hot Rod Red, although it appears a bit more orangey in the pictures. It's been fitted with Wizard 64 pickups which sound unbelievably good and has been wired with concentric volume and tone pots as per the 62 reissue Jazzes. Condition-wise is overall very good, but there are a few marks and dings here and there, commensurate with its age. Weight-wise it's approximately 9lbs, so a very nice weight too. I had it set up recently and put a new set of lightweight La Bella flat so n it and it plays beautifully. The set up and the strings cost me approximately £120 but was money very well spent. Unfortunately, as my virtually new Aguilar a Tonehammer 500 hasn't yet sold, I need to move the bass on due to another recent purchase. I would however, consider a trade for both the bass and amp for a Fender US reissue Jazz (62 or 75) and possibly a Musicman Classic Stingray. I'm looking for £620 for this. Unfortunately I don't have a case or a gigbag for this but could ack week if I needed to post it. Due to circumstances beyond my control (I've just bought something else!) the only trade I'd consider is for an EBS Microbass II plus cash my way. Bump for a price drop too. I won't let it go for any lower than this. It's nearly £80 off a brand new one
