1. It's a Status S2 (I think) Looks like my one anyway
2. I'm pretty sure it's a B Profile neck Dave (standard size for 70's P Basses). It certainly felt like it
3. Check out my old Shuker 5 string PJ for sale at Bass Gear. It's a stunner http://www.bassgear.co.uk/product/5-string-bass-guitars-po/shuker-custom-p5/
4.
Can't believe this is still here Nick........unfortunately my Status is a streamline not an S2.
Thanks Mart I've had lots of trade offers but nothing that I really want at the moment. A few people are selling bits too and interested in buying it. Hope you're well
5. I reckon my 82 Stingray is only just over 8lbs in weight. It's a lovely bass to play and feels incredibly comfortable with a lovely narrow neck too. In many respects, its quite difficult to believe that the pre-EB's are related to the post EB's as they are completely different beasts.
6. Such a nice bass. Are you SURE you don't want to trade with my 1982 pre-Ernie Ball Stingray?
7.
I made a mistake LOL ! I just have to remove the bridge top cover and put it in the right position !
I thought I was going crazy
8. Out of interest why is the lettering in the bridge now upside down? Great work by the way
9.
I must admit out of all the modern shaped high end builders, I like the Roscoe's the most. Very tasteful.
+1 Lovely
10. Andrew (who incidentally is not horrible) bought my Stingray in a totally hassle-free deal. A great guy to deal with. He also has an excellent taste in watches. Highly recommended
11. I like the opener Clarky. Very nice and not dissimilar from Larkin Poe (one of my faves)
12.
Yeah, I've even approached mm about a custom build of "the one" but with the options I want it would have to be " the two" And cross merge parts..... EXPENSIVO!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know any of the detail but it sounds expensive just from what you've written
13.
Matey you're searching hard for 'the one' at the moment aren't you! Pretty bass bump too
My old P Bass is 'the one' Andy. It's taken me a long time to realise. The search for a decent backup is the problem
14. For sale is a stunning Musicman Stingray 4 String with HH configuration from 2006. It's in absolutely wonderful condition and comes with both black and white/cream pearloid original Musicman pickguards. It weighs in at approximately 9lbs, so is a lovely light weight. It is currently strung with a set of D'Addario Chromes Flats with a nice action. There is no case unfortunately. The neck has been gently sanded and treated with several coats of BIrchwood Casey Tru oil and the back of the neck finished with Birchwood Casey Gunstock wax (as recommended on the Ernie Ball forums). THis has really brought out the flame in the neck and has revived the gorgeous satin feel to the neck. I'm not looking for trades on this bass unfortunately and due to the lack of a case I wouldn't want to post (unless someone sends me a case or gigbag or wants me to purchase one for them). Yours for £900.
15. Graham bought a gigbag from me in a totally hassle-free deal. It couldn't have been easier Highly recommended. Thanks Graham
16. Tom bought some straplocks off me in a totally hassle-free deal Highly recommended thank Tom
17. Nick bought my Fender 75 Reissue Jazz in a totally hassle-free deal. A thoroughly nice guy and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks Nick
18.
The level of committment Nick brings to a sale is without parallel or peer...
It was a bloody long swim though
19. I've not seen these before but for sale are a pair of decent straplocks by Ernie Ball. As all my basses are equipped with Schaller strap buttons I have no need for these. I'm looking for £10 plus £1 p&p
