1. I've had rather a busy day and acquired 2 new basses! First up is a Washburn AB20 that I bought off this forum for a new Acoustic project. It's a stunning bass and in superb condition. I picked it up from Christchurch, got back in the car and by the time I'd arrived home the singer had emailed everyone and told them he's moving to Romford with his job- end of project!! I need to decide whether to move it on or keep it, but at the moment I can't see anything else I would use it for. Second up is a Fender Japan 62 P Bass fretless. I've not seen many of these in the UK at all and paid a fair amount for it. It's in great condition and weighs a very comfortable 9lbs. Again, I bought this for the same project but as I have a lovely Stingray Fretless, I'm not sure if this is a keeper or not. Anyway, here are some pics:
2.
Ta. Thinking about it, the second question is irrelevant. Where in Surrey are you, and would you take £70 for both pods plus stand?
I'm based near Woking and £70 is fine with me
3.
Question. Can the pod LEDs be used on the stand? And do you know if they might be compatable with KAM Parbar stuff via a suitable cable? I think that might have been 2 questions...
I can answer one of those questions The LED pods can be morphed in to several shapes including side by side in a long line. This is exactly what we have done and used cable ties to attach them on to the light stand (completely secure as they're tied through holes on one of the arms). I'll take some pics later and post them.
4.
Interested in the acoustic guitar stand, but i'm in the process of moving house - would you be able to hold it for a week or so?
No problem

6. I've had a few nice trade offers so far, but am being quite specific in what I'm looking for unfortunately Cash is king though, so feel free to make me an offer
7. Lennard recently purchased my Rickenbacker 4003 in what was a totally faultless transaction. He's 100% trustworthy and I'd recommend him to anyone. Enjoy the Ric Lennard
8. For sale is a week old Pedaltrain Nano with padded carry case. I bought this and attached the velcro but actually need a Pedaltrain Mini (slightly bigger version). I am looking to sell for £40 inc P&P or trade for a Pedaltrain Mini plus a bit of cash from me . It's in superb condition apart form having the velcro attached. This is easily removed though or could be left in place. Comes with spare cable ties and attachable velcro strip.
9. Citylink is days behind on pick ups and deliveries from the Easter weekend. They're having all sorts of problems at the moment, so I can't see the backlog easing for a while
10.
Nice, I have an old EN10 of similar construction- sounds brilliant. bet this does too!
Thanks Luke. It's a good one and had I managed to not break my bridge work on my front teeth (bloody charity Rugby!) I'd be keeping hold of it for sure
11. Reluctantly up for sale is a Takamine TAN40C Electro Acoustic with Cool Tube Preamp. It als comes with a HIscox case. The guitar has been used and shows signs of use (please see pics). There's nothing major at all but due to the thin satin finish (part of the Supernatural Series), the guitar shows marks quite easily. It plays and sounds wonderful and has mellowed nicely. Currently strung with a brand new set of TI Plectrum 12's and will come with a spare set and a brand new leather Levy's Strap. Specifications Body Shape: NEX Cutaway Rosette: Tinted wood rings Top: Solid Cedar Inlays: None Back: Solid Mahogany Sides: Mahogany Fingerboard: Rosewood Tuners: Gold with Amber Pearl Features: Scalloped bracing I'm looking for £420 plus P&P. I'd also consider a trade for an Epiphone Jack Casady, Fender Mustang bass or 51/sting P Bass
12. For sale is a spotless Rickenbacker 4003 in Mapleglo (2011 model) that I have owned from new for a short while. It is in superb condition, light (8.5lbs at a guess) and strung with TI Flats at the moment. It has a bezel around the treble pickup that makes it more comfortable than the large gap usually found around the pickup. It comes with the pickup cover, trussrod, case candy but not case unfortunately. It will come with a Protec Contego gigbag (worth £90) and is far easier to transport the bass than the plastic Ric case. The bass plays superbly and sounds wonderful. Unfortunately though with ongoing wrist problems it's not for me. I'm looking for £1,050 for this but would consider interesting trades or P/ex'es (no idea what to be honest but would definitely consider a Ric with a Fender Custom Shop, reissue, decent 5 string, Fender US Strat and amp or a Gibson or Martin acoustic guitar)
13. Our drummer once picked up a camping table in a bag from my garage instead of the mixing desk
14. I couldn't find a feedback thread so thought I'd start one for Stealth (Simon). I met with Simon earlier today and bought a stunning Stingray Fretless Bass from him. It's a beautiful bass and he's a great guy to deal with. Stay in touch Si. I can foresee a few beers over lunch in the Chineham Arms coming up
15. It was You Bet. I saw it too. I'm pretty sure it was Herbie Flowers playing the bass while the guy sat there blindfolded trying to guess which bass etc it was. If I recall, he didn't get one right
16. Played a Memorial gig last night and despite a few mistakes (the free form ending to Rock n Roll was entertaining) we went down very well and received a number of enquiries from some of the audience. The Rickenbacker through my Genz Benz sounded great and I received some very nice compliments about my tone
17. I have bought the same Jazz bass 4 (four) times from Basschatters!! It's ironic that it's now my number 1 go-to bass
18. Chris bought a Rack Bag from me and had the patience of a Saint while the couriers decided to play silly buggers. Thanks again Chris
19. For sale are 2 Fender American Series (2008 onwards model) tuning pegs that came from my Fender Basses as I have fitted D-Tuners to both. They're in excellent condition and I am looking for £20 each inc P&P
20.
But this one is pre-CBS! http://www.ebay.co.u...=item41630f23e8
Lovely weight, nice pick up, huge sweet spot.
