I've somehow managed to end up with 2 sets of Kolstein Heritage Strings! There were imported from the US a few days back and are totally new and unused. Here's the spec: http://www.gollihurm...SS_STRINGS.html I'm looking for £100 inc P&P for these.

I started on the Recorder probably like 80% of my generation. I moved swiftly on to the Clarinet as it was my Great Grandmother's favourite instrument (Acker Bilk fan). At the age of 11 I graduated on to Saxophone and stayed with it for 12 or so years until I lost my front teeth in a Rugby incident involving a fist. I was proficient enough to get to grade 8 on the sax and played mostly Alto and Soprano sax and whilst at University played in a popular pro band in the Glos/Somerset area. I was fortunate enough to have shared the stage with Humphrey Lyttelton, Ruby Turner and Beverley Knight (not all at the same time). In the background from the age of about 12-13, I heard and fell in love with Marcus Miller's Bass Solo at the Beginning of Run For Cover on David Sanborn's Straight To The Heart live album and bought my first bass as a direct result. I played in a couple of bands at school/uni, but once the Sax playing really took off for me I dropped the bass for a fair while. My one regret is that I didn't go down the music lessons/readign music route for the bass that I followed for the Sax.

Traded: Littlemark 800 Tube - £440 inc P&P
Old Horse Murphy posted a topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale
For sale is my Markbass Littlemark 800 Tube amp. It's one of the best amps I've owned and comes complete with rack mounting ears. It produces 800W at 4 ohms and has the wonderful VLE/VPF Filters that all Markbass amps have. It has some scratches on it from where it has been used (never abused I might add) but has been well looked after and spent pretty-much all of its gigging career in a rack bag. I am selling the amp for £440 inc P&P or would consider a trade for a Lakland Bob Glaub, EBS Effects pedals or possibly a Yamaha TRB5 plus a cash adjustment either way. I'm also selling the rack bag (3 U Stagg shallow depth) for £20 plus £5 P&P. Here's a link to the Markbass website: http://www.markbass....tail.php?id=101 NOW TRADED -
For sale is a Markbass Bass Keeper that is practically new. These are a great way of safely securing your bass to a cab/amp instead of carrying a separate stand. It secures to the cab handle and the bass via 2 strong velcro loops. The cheapest I can find these for is £25 inc P&P. I'm letting this one got for £18 inc P&P

THe cheapest I can find these for is £75 inc P&P. This is completely unopened (I have 2- don't ask!!) I'm selling for £70 inc P&P. Here's some bumph. They're a very useful bit of kit BigShot™ i/o true bypass instrument selector Toggle two instruments with single foot stomp Adjustable volume control to match levels http://www.tonebone....l-red-arrow.gifSeparate tuner output and mute switch http://www.tonebone....l-red-arrow.gifCompact and rugged for pedalboards http://www.tonebone....l-red-arrow.gifLoad compensation for long cables The Radial BigShot i/o is an easy to use instrument selector switch that lets you quickly transition between any two instruments and drive the signal to your amp. Because the i/o is 100% true-bypass, it addresses the needs of the most demanding purist. To further enhance connectivity, input-B is equipped with a level control called DIM that lets you reduce the signal from the louder of your two instruments so that both instruments are matched to the same volume level when they reach the amplifier. When passive instruments are used, a unique ‘bright’ switch lets you compensate for high frequency loss due to longer cables. To enhance on-stage functionality, the BigShot i/o is equipped with a tuner output. With a simple foot stomp on the MUTE switch, the sound going to the amp is turned off and diverted to the tuner for quiet on-stage adjustments. An ‘always on’ switch also permits on-the-fly quiet tuning should you wish to have the tuner on at all times. Compact, extremely rugged and completely passive, the BigShot i/o does not require any powering to make it work. This makes it ideal for pedalboards where the use of batteries or power supplies is painful! The BigShot i/o is also perfect for all you instruments and hi-Z line-level signal switching.
Thanks Nick, Errrm, ... showing my total ignorance of Fender neck widths I had to look this up. B is 1 5/8th inches at the nut Im told
Yes, just measured it and got rather disapproving looks from my wife when I ran upstairs with a ruler to measure my nuts...
