1.
You have no idea how much I want this! Anything in my sig take your fancy? Truckstop
you might want to limit the selection available as the Fretless P looks mighty tempting
2. Hey Stevie, it will fit, as far as I can tell all MIJ Rick copy bridges are identical dimensions to real 'uns. I have a brass Hipshot on my Kasuga. J. Thanks Jon I've just had a look at a few Ibby's Ric copies on Google and the bridges look pretty-much the same as the Ric bridge so I guess this will fit
3. Spent a pleasant hour on the train yesterday listening to a Marillion Live album. I've always been a huge fan of Pete Trewavas but he's definitely one of those players who's better live than in the studio. What a stunning player.
4. I wanted 1 of these but ended up with a second one in a trade! As superb as they are, one is enough! It's a Crafted in Japan model and in superb condition. The only marks I can find on the bass apart from where the covers have been fitted are a few scuff marks on the lower horn (pictured). Build quality is absolutely superb. Unlike the 51 Reissue, this has a comfortable contoured body and weighs considerably less too! It weighs under 9lbs (nearer 8.5lbs) and has recently been set up. It sounds superb and plays beautifully. I will also include the original bridge and a new style Fender high mass bridge in the sale. These are currently selling new for over £800! This one is considerably cheaper at £510 plus P&P. It's also on Ebay at a premium.
5. For sale is my GK MB210 Combo (2x10 350w @ 8 ohms, 500w @ 4 ohms with extension cab) weighing in at only 33lbs! I've found this to be a superb piece of kit and incredibly convenient for rehearsals and small/medium gigs. The only reason I'm selling is because I am not rehearsing more than once a month at the moment and using a bigger rig for some big gigs coming up. It's in great condition apart from a few scuffs (pictured) and has been well looked after. Here's some more details about the features: At 33lbs. and 500w the Gallien Krueger MB210 has the power to be heard in any situation. Gallien Krueger MB210 main features include: Digital power amp 350W @ 8 ohms/500W @ 4 ohms (with extension) Speakon speaker output 1/8” aux input Headphone jack Defeatable limiter Two 10” Neodymium speakers Active 4 band EQ with contour XLR output with ground lift It comes with a Roqsolid cover too. I'm selling for £320 and will post for cost if necessary
6.
Sorry for being so vague! I was wondering if the bridge would fit the Ibanez but interested the pick up surround as well.
You've just missed out on the surround by 2 minutes I'm afraid. I'm not sure whether the bridge would fit the Ibanez. I guess if it's anything like the Ric bridge it would but that's only a guess
7.
Dunno if you know if this would fit an Ibanez rick copy?
Hi mate. Which part do you mean? Cheers
8.
Is the Hipshot brass or aluminium? I have a brass one & it weighs a ton, wouldn't mind swapping for a lightweight one. Jon.
Hi Jon It's the aluminium one. Cheers Nick
9. Unfortunately these arrived too late for when I owned my Ric, but my loss is your gain First up is a brand new (still unwrapped) Hipshot replacement chrome bridge (as per the one pictured). These bridges are far superior to the current stock Ric bridges and allow individual string height, intonation and go a long way to alleviating These are currently selling for £105 plus P&P. Mine is available for £70 inc P&P.
10. My Sting Bass. It's been a total revelation; lightweight, huge sounding and considerably more comfortable than the 51 Reissues I've tried (contoured body, thinner neck). Build quality is superb too. Even that silly old Sting signature is bearable.
11.
How about two lovely, new, lightweight, upgraded Purple Chili 1 x 12's, plus £60, and I'll do the driving.
Thank you for the offer but I'm being particularly picky with trade options Bump for new price too. I won't let it go for less than this
12. I bought this recently for a project but haven't got round to doing anything with it yet. Here is a genuine all-original 2002 Fender USA Vintage reissue 62 P bass made of Alder with Nitro finish. It's got a few dings (pictured) but all the electronics and fittings are genuine and it looks beautiful. Looking to trade with a US Fender Strat or Tele is possible
13. For sales is a pair of genuine Fender chrome pickup covers (pickup and bridge plus screws) for a Fender 51/54/Telebass. They have been used but are in superb condition with no scratches etc. £20 inc P&P
14.
out of interest, are you replacing it? or sticking with your P-basses?
I'm probably going to stick with my P basses actually. I quite fancy thouse Lakland Hollowbodies or Epi Jack Casadys though
15.
Thats a quick turn around nick! Shame I just depleted my savings with a shuker really
Thanks mate. I totally understand the draw of a Shuker! Lots of interest but nothing definite so far Bump fo rlower price too. Not going lower than this
16.
Even in today's depressed market this has to be a bargain. I will be surprised if it is still here tomorrow morning.
Thanks for the kind words. Lots of interest so far but no bites!
17. I have a MB210 I use for rehearsals and think its great. Very small, lightweight and very loud. Quite bassy sounding too. If you're in the area you're more than welcome to come along and try it out.
18. Thanks for the PM's so far. Sale only I'm afraid And BUMP for more pics added
19. I am sadly having to sell this bass as it is causing massive problems with my hand when I play it due to a major Rugby injury a few years back To say I'm gutted is putting it mildly. Here is a stunning Fireglo Rickenbacker 4003 made in 2001. It is virtually spotless save for a tiny pin sized marks (not through the paint) and plays and sounds wonderful. Weight-wise it is just shy of 9lbs and is the nicest Ric I have played by a long way. It comes with a spare set of strings, shaped case and truss rod adjuster tool. I am looking for £1,100 plus P&P, although I would prefer a meet up. Please let me know if you have any questions and I will also try and get some more pics up ASAP.
