1. I've got a couple of pedals for sale here. Got them last week, tried them out and basically I'm never going to use them!! Little Big Muff- a more "space-efficient" version of the Big Muff pii. A really good pedal for adding distortion and Sustain. New and boxed. Selling in the shops for £46 plus £6 P&P. Yours for £35 plus £4 P&P. Dr Q (nano)- small version of EH's Wah/Funk box. I'm just not funky enough New and boxed. In the shops for £40 plus £6 P&P. Yours for £30 plus £4 P&P. If someone wants both, I'm happy to work out a deal!! I've still got my Ashdown ABM500 EVO 2 Head for sale. This is a few months old and still under warranty. It comes with the official Ashdown cover too. I've had a bit of interest but nothing concrete. As a result, I'm looking for offers around £350. At this price, it's a real bargain for someone.
 2.
So you saved a girl from falling into a gorge? Well done, mate. That's hero material. Sorry to hear about your injuries. Cheers Mark
It was about 30ft up and I think all that would have happened was she would've got wet!!
 3.
But I must -- what happened? Cheers Mark
Went away on a "team building" weekend with work. We were on a bridge building exercise and one of the girls decided she was going to walk backwards off the edge of the gorge. I managed to grab her in time but as she slipped it pulled my fingers out of their sockets. Sounds more dramtic than it was, but I'm pretty miffed. Luckily no gigs for 2 weeks though
 4. A bit of an up and down weekend really. Spent the weekend in the Lake District, where I managed to dislocate 3 fingers (don't ask). So, sitting here feeling sorry for myself this morning, when the post arrives and in it is my new David Gilmour DVD. There was a thread here a few weeks back about his Royal Albert Hall concert. If you've not got the DVD, then do so immediately- it's breathtaking. My hand doesn't hurt anymore, but my Stingray is looking sorrowfully at me from the corner of the room
 5. Fair amount of interest in the Ashdown Head but nothing concrete, so.....BUMP
 6. Nice looking Jazz bass. It does look very different with a P Bass neck
 7. 2 MM Stingray 4's 1 MM Stingray 5 1 Rickenbacker 4003 (I'm seriously thinking of getting rid of) 1 Washburn Electro-Acoustic bass (not sure what one though- AB10?) I really want a Bongo 5 or maybe a Jazz-based 5 I've also got a really nice Taylor 316 which is too delicate and nice for me Don't think I need anymore, but tomorrow is another day!!
 8.
That's pretty much the Ashdown rig i'd like to own but the normal head instead of rackmount. That Stingray 4 has me drooling too.. very nice.
Thanks mate I did actually have the other type of head for this (see for sale section!!) but I found the rack mounted head far easier to transport with the tuner, compressor etc. They sound exactly the same (in my opinion a good thing) but I guess it's down to personal taste.
 9.
you big kidder
 10.
MB1. Status Kingbass Artist signature Headless ....(accept no substitute!)
You finally got one then? Show us....
 11.
Must weigh in at a few pounds!
10.6!
 12.
MB1. Isnt it bizarre the down with the streets angry modfather coming from such a nice place as woking? All that angst cause they didnt empty his bins one thursday! BUMP!
Don't get me started on Woking Borough Council's policy for rubbish collection...........Grrrr Think I'm going to form a 3 piece Mod band. Either that, or write a cookery book (Delia has such a way with words...when she's not drunk at Football matches) Must be a Woking thing
 13.
When I saw Fiction Plane (rubbish name by the way), I did think that Sting's son was trying so hard to be his dad it was like a tribute act. You can just tell when a band is going to make it and they aren't. Wasn't the Wallflowers band lead by Bob Dylan's son?...can't really think of any other bands fronted by offspring of famous singers....
Wilson Phillips? Do they count?
 14.
Pmed, also are you interested in trades, and where are ya located?
I'm not particularly interested in trades I'm afraid (unless you have a Bongo 5 that is...) I'm based in Woking. The birthplace of Paul Weller, Harry Hill and err, believe it or not Delia Smith
 15. As a special offer to Bass Chatters, I've gone one of these at home. Yours for £900....anyone? Anyone? Hello?
 16. I've always used Schallers for years. Never had a problem with them and they've never come undone on me (the straplocks that is). They're pretty ugly though
 17.
MB1. Hello ,well did you go? apparently ive heard the police have been looking for you for quite some time!
I managed to drag a mate along in the end. Looking back, I wish I hadn't. I didn't think they were that good. Damn Sting and all his rainforests!!
 18.
You can have 2 speakon-enabled cabs. Just make sure that one cable is 1/8th inch jack to speakon.
This is how I've got mine connected (OBBM made me a jack to Speakon cable)
 19.
This is a dreadful situation. Have a bump on me.
Received with thanks
 20.
Ha Ha Ha ! No, not me. Were you stripped to the waist?
Good God no. Sounds like something our Drummer would've done though
