  1. Thanks for the interest so far. Just to confirm, I don’t have the box and this runs off a 9 volt power supply (I ran it off my pedalboard)
  2. I recently bought John’s Markbass Bass Booster in a totally faultless deal with excellent comms all the way through and next day delivery. Highly recommended and a super Basschatter
  3. For sale is one Xotic RC Bass Booster pedal that has been professionally modded with a “more” switch that gives a lovely fuzz sound when engaged (installed by the previous owner and honestly not something I’ve used a great deal but quite good fun). I used this to balance out the output of two different basses during gigs rather than faff about with volume knobs etc. I also use it for when I want a bit of boost to my sound or add a bit more grunt to my overdrive. It is very transparent and what you put in is very much what you get out. This pedal had also had some high visibility speed knobs added to it which actually help massively when trying to look at a dark pedalboard. The pedal is in overall very good condition. The only reason I’m selling is I’ve just bought another pedal that has a built in boost functionality so don’t really need two of them. These retail at over £170 of you can find one. I’m selling mine for £85 inc. delivery. There’s no box but it will be well packed Specs: Bass RC Booster with a 2 band EQ, 15dB boost / cut function and a very smooth clean boost, this pedal meets a wide range of tonal applications. » With signal loss and EQ limitations common to vintage basses. The Bass RC Booster serves as the perfect remedy. » It is designed to enhance your bass guitar tone without masking it. » True bypass for eliminating any signal interference when switched off. Can be used with AC adaptor (optional) or 9V Battery.
  4. For sale is a brand new unopened Ernie Ball tool kit. These retail at over £40 plus delivery, so save your self a bit of money. Yours for £35 inc. delivery
  5. Another faultless deal with Alain. Highly recommended and a pillar of the Basschat community
  6. For sale is a brand new and completely unused Darkglass Vintage Microtubes with box, paperwork etc. Yours for £160 inc. postage
  7. Lovely and barking, Jack; as is the DB. It sort of reminds me of one of those cans of ham you used to see in the supermarket around Christmas time (or in subsequent Harvest Festival collections at school). Im half hoping there’s a giant key on the side of it.... Well done indeed
  8. Brand new unopened 5 string set of Fender 72505M Nickel strings (45-125) Yours for £16 inc. postage
  9. It’s not too bad and doesn’t feel too thick to me. Mind you, I play P Basses so I don’t think I’d be the best to comment. I’d liken it to the standard B width neck on 70’s P Basses.
  10. I played one the other day in PMT along with the P Bass version. Fabulous basses, excellent build quality, lightweight, well set up and great sounding. The P Bass left with me but it was a close call
  11. Phwoar, that’s a nice pair Michael. They look natural too! 😛
  12. I'm working in London for the next few days and "happened" to find myself wandering past the PMT Store in Clerkenwell at lunchtime. They had a very nice selection of instruments but the two that caught my eye in particular were the Fender Mexican FSR 70's Jazz and P Bass. I have always scoffed at Mexican Basses because I am both ignorant and a bit of a gear Snob, but having recently purchased a Fender Flea Jazz, the scales have fallen from my eyes. The Jazz was lovely and looked a million dollars. It also sounded like a super Jazz Bass with the 70's pickup spacing: a good weight too. The P bass however, was something else.... I've never played a bass in a shop with such a low, easy action. Finish was flawless and the sounds I could get out of it through a cheapish Fender combo blew my mind. It weighs less than 8.5lbs and the neck is gorgeous and for a flatwound addict, I will absolutely keep roundwounds on this as it plays so well. The chap at PMT offered me a great deal and threw a set of strings in free of charge. I can neither really afford it or justify it, but have been looking for a backup for my main P bass to play is some of the less salubrious establishments in and around Bristol; andthis one fits the bill and may (may) even become my main gigging bass. They really are that good. It's not a faithful 70's replica by any means and anyone who knows anything about 70's Fenders would see straight through this one, but it's close enough for Jazz and looking like a genuine 70’s P Bass was not the reason I bought it anyway. If anyone is even remotely thinking about trying or buying one of these, I would say not to leave it too long as they really are stunners.
  13. For sale is a new unused Music Man Stingray ABS Hard case, with keys and candy. This came with my 2018 Fretless Stingray but as I don't keep the basses in a case, or use them for transportation (Mono gigbags for me) it is sat there gathering dust. It comes with an unopened bag of Case Candy which I'll sell as part of the deal. I'm looking for £125 picked up from Bristol or Monmouth (I'm happy to meet up within reason). I will post for cost. As soon as I'm home I'll take pictures, but it is new and unused Thanks for looking
  14. For sale is a brand new and unused Fender Deluxe Bass Gigbag I received with my Fender Flea bass. They're good bits of kit and pretty sturdy (as per the picture). Yours for £30 inc. postage
  15. For sale are two Hercules Mini Acoustic Guitar Stands in excellent condition. These are super little stands which pack away neatly for transportation. £15 each inc. postage.
  16. For sale are a number of excellent quality guitar straps. All are in great condition but may show signs of use with strap locks (any unused straps are described as unused). All are what I would describe as medium- long straps, up to 54-56” at a guess. They’re all fully leather apart from the Fender tweed strap. All the leather straps are priced at £22 inc postage. The Fender strap is £12 inc postage. **SOLD** Strap 1- First up is an unused gorgeous padded black leather strap with orange suede lining. This was handmade in England and is superb quality. **SOLD** Strap 2- Next is a lovely Harvest light brown strap with white embroidery. It’s in super condition (no lining). *SOLD** Strap 3- Next is a brown padded leather strap with black suede lining. This is (I seem to recall) a Levy’s strap and is excellent quality. Strap 4- Next up is a Brown leather unlined handmade strap made by a leather worker from Holland who brings over to the UK probably about 20 straps a year. This one has a taper and the body end, which is ideal for basses with a strap button on the rear of the body. **SOLD** Strap 5- Next is a lovely brown leather unlined strap from the 70’s! If Han Solo played bass, this would be his strap. Lots of mojo and looks superb. **SOLD** Strap 6- Finally is an unused Fender tweed Strap which looks gorgeous Strap 1 **SOLD** Strap 2 Strap 3 Strap 4 Strap 5 Strap 6 **SOLD **
