For sale is a superb Fender Signature Sting Bass from 2014 in superb condition apart from one tiny ding (pictured). It's lightweight and plays superbly (strung with a new set of TI Flats). I'm looking for £750 (trade value £850) but would consider trades for a lightweight late 80's 2eq Stingray, or a lightweight Stingray 5 in very good condition. I'd also consider a Gibson Thunderbird, something Gibson, in great nick or American Series Strat or Tele in equally good condition

For sale is a gorgeous 2006 US Fender lined Fretless Jazz with S1 switch (makes it sound more like a P Bass- a great tool, especially for fretless IMHO). It's in really super clean condition apart from a tiny ding on the upper curve (pictured) and is lightweight (around 9lbs). Currently strung with TI Flats and comes with two genuine Fender pickguards. There is no case but I can supply a good quality gigbag. This is a super fretless, effortless to play and sounds wonderful. In fact, it's got to be the best fretless I've played in terms of sustain and ease of playing. The string ferrules are also included, but as I never use string-through and they often come loose (Fender design fault) I removed them for safe keeping. It's an easy fix to replace and no damage has been done. I would consider trades with a decent 80's Stingray 2 eq bass. I'd also consider a decent acoustic or a US Fender Strat or Tele in equally good condition. Possibly a 5 String Stingray too if it's not too heavy.

I asked Gareth (Vic's brother) if given time, he wouldn't mind sharing a few photos of Vic's bass as there are a large number of us who would love to see it. After all the times I heard about how it was going to look and what spec he'd settled on finally, I'd dearly like a chance to see it just once, even if it's without the great man himself playing it

SOLD: Fender American Vintage 63 P Bass- Sonic Blue

Not sure about the his but here goes... Up for sale is my 2016 Fender American Vintage 63 P Bass in faded Sonic Blue. Condition is near perfect apart from a small black mark (pictured) near the rear strap button which I'm sure would polish off. I have fitted a celluloid tortoiseshell pickguard to it (cost over £80) but the original mint one is not included. It comes with all the case candy but does not include the case or spare strings (currently strung with DR Sunbeams). Weight-wise it's around 8.5lbs and has a lovely low action. I have two P Basses and the other one is a long-term keeper, so I am looking to sell this one for £1,200 (current retail is over £1,650) but would consider trades for a late 80's 2eq Stingray or a super condition, lightweight Stingray Classic. I've owned a few 88-89 Stingrays and they were all wonderful basses. In fact, I preferred them to a late 70's and early 80's Ray that I also owned. Picking one up again is definitely my next purchase
