For sale is a Tascam CD BT2 Bass trainer that allows you to play CD's and play along with your bass: a very useful piece of kit. It has a number of useful features such as pitch change, tuner, slow down etc. Here are some more specs: The Tascam CD-BT2 is the latest introduction in the portable CD trainer line - a product category literally invented by TASCAM. Like the wildly-popular original CD-BT1 bass trainer, musicians have the ability to slow down the speed of a CD without changing the pitch - allowing artists, musicians, students, and music teachers to practice, learn and teach fast licks, rhythm parts and solos from their favourite bass players. With its ultra-compact design and new functionality, the CD-BT2 guitar trainer from TASCAM is one of the most user-friendly trainers ever. The CDBT2 bass trainer features an all new improved ultra compact design, comprehensive LCD display with graphical user interface, Album title/Track title indication by CD-Text, expanded effect banks for user preset, chromatic tuner, and TASCAM'S pioneering VSA (Variable Speed Audition, pitch control without affecting key) feature lets music fans learn up a continuous mix of their favorite songs anywhere they go. With TASCAM'S legendary ease of use, pioneering features such as integrated pitch and key control, bass canceller with selectable canceling pan point and selectable frequency range, and seamless integration with CD-DA/CD-R/CD-RW disc playback, users can now discover the licks their favourite artist really played. These cost £109 plus postage new. Mine is in super condition and for sale at £55 inc. postage (doesn't include the mains power supply).

TRADED: 1 week old Warwick GPS Streamer CV 4- £1,100
Old Horse Murphy replied to Old Horse Murphy's topic in Basses For Sale
Thanks for the comments. Perhaps you're right but I personally would feel rather hard done by if I subsequently bought a Bass from a retailer advertised as new that had in fact been used (albeit at a single rehearsal). I don't feel right returning it. I'm afraid that (again) my impetuousness has caused me to lose money -

For sale or trade is a week old Warwick CV4 German Pro Series Streamer. This is by far the best Jazz derived bass I've ever played and cost me £1,450 a week ago from G4M. It is absolutely spotless (the marks in the pic are fingerprints) and comes with an excellent Warwick gigbag, all the tools and has been restrung with a new set of La Bella Deep Talkin Flats (original strings supplied too). The Jazz pickups with treble/bass passive tone sounds immense. The action is very low and the Bass weighs less than 8lbs! I have an urgent need for a 4 string Fretless so this has to go and it breaks my heart. I'm looking for £1,100 or trades for a decent Fretless 4 String plus cash my way (either Fender US Jazz Fretless or Musicman Stingray 2eq). These are wonderful basses and are sublime quality.

For sale is a week old 5 string set of La Bella Deep Talkin Flatwounds XL Scale (38" ball to silk) 45-128's. I bought see for my Warwick 5 String Streamer as they fit perfectly with the 2 piece Warwick Bridge. They were put on and taken off as I prefer roundwounds on a 5 String. They cost £47 plus postage. I'm selling these for £37 inc.

SOLD: Warwick Pro Series (Korean) Star Bass- NOS

For sale is a recently acquired Warwick Pro Series (Made in Korea) Starbass, complete with a new Warwick Gigbag worth £85. These Pro Series Instruments aren't available anymore and the German equivalents cost £2,000+. I picked this up on a recent trip to Poland with work and when I bought it, it still had the plastic covering on the pickups. Basically, it had been stored since 2012 and was pretty unmolested apart from a few tiny marks on the headstock and a lacquer crack on the body between the bridge pickup and the bridge. This has been checked thoroughly and is in the finish, not the wood. As a result, it doesn't affect playability or stability whatsoever. I've photographs both but had to use a flash, so the marks may look worse than they are as it was difficult to pick up both due to the black finish. It is currently strung with a set of DR Sunbeams and comes with all the tools. It plays beautifully and sounds wonderful too. The proper Warwick gig bag was bought brand new from Gear4Music for £85. I'm not entirely sure of the weight, but it's around 8.5lbs, certainly no porker and very comfortable (I'll throw in a gorgeous long Harvest Leather strap). I'm not looking for trades on this as I've gone rather "Warwick mad" recently. I'm looking for £800 plus postage, which is less than I paid and a fair amount less than the current Rock Bass models.
