1.
Stop bumping this; when I've won the lottery and she can't argue with me spending the money I'll be in touch. Deal? Deal
2. Thanks for the offers but I'm really not looking for trades
 3. I had the pleasure of Graeme's company this evening when we met up for him to purchase a bass case I was selling. He's a lovely guy, completely trustworthy and it's a shame we didn't have more time for a proper chat Highly recommended
 4. For sale is a recently acquired Markbass CMD121P 1x12" combo (the amp is a Markbass 2). It's in excellent condition and hasn't been gigged (home use only). Power-wise it's 300W @ 8 ohm and 500w @ 4 ohm with an extension cab. It's just under 4 years old and was made in Italy. The only real marks I can see on it are where the rubber handle has pulled away slightly from the handle connector on top of the amp. It's still as solid as a rock. As there's something underneath the rubber that connects the strap, but I wanted to mention it. It even comes with the original manual I'm looking for £515 (no trades please) and it can be picked up from either Woking (weekends) or Bristol (weekdays) and anywhere in between given timings and distance
 5.
Who is this Ida?
A big Youtube sensation from Denmark who managed to land the rather envious role as Prince's bass player for his last album and few tours. She's incredible in almost every way
 6. I'm afraid I don't know the dimensions. They're standard US Fender Jazz pickups, so I would imagine they would. I'm home of Friday so can measure them then
 7. My wife will probably kill me for selling the bass! It's a funny old world
 8. No worries. I'm a bit surprised by the fingerboard radius measurement. It certainly doesn't feel that flat in hand
 9. I'm not back home until Firday unfortunately, so won't be able to measure it until then. It's a very comfortable neck though However, I've found the following dimensions online: 34" scale 22 Frets 39mm Nut Radius 14" Thickness at first fret 21mm Width at 22nd Fret 63mm Hope that helps
 10.
Oh man, I remember when you bought that and I'm very surprised to see it for sale as I thought it was a keeper. Completely understand your position though and it really has me thinking in a "how am I going to justify buying it" kind of way. I may be back to you.
No worries. I'm in Essex next week picking an amp up
 11. I've gone for Concentric pots and a set of Wizard 84's. I had that setup in a jazz I sold ages ago and have regretted it ever since
 12. This is a very reluctant sale, but as my Sandberg isn't being used very much anymore, it's time to put it up for sale. It's a 2014 Sandberg California Ida Nielsen Signature PJ Bass that was bought from Bass Direct in May last year for £1,600. It's in virtually mint condition, apart from a small ding on the top edge of the body (pictured). It's strung with TI Flats and has the lowest action on any bass I've played. It's effortless. The bass has a chambered Alder body and is incredibly light (I'd guess at 8-8.25lbs). The active/passive electronics are amazing and the balance between switching from active to passive is unnoticeable, likewise the balance between the P and J pickups. It truly is a wonderful hand-built bass that is head and shoulders above any Sandberg I have played (and that really is saying something!) The colour is almost custard and yellower than the pictures show (similar to the first 2 pictures). It's a stunner. It comes complete with the Sandberg gigbag and truss rod tool and a second tortoiseshell pickguard. I'll also throw in a blue LED torch to charge the luminous side dot markers Bass Direct has one on sale at the moment for £1,669 and waiting lists to order them is over 4 months now as they're hand-built. It can be picked up from either Woking (weekends) or Bristol (weekdays). I'm looking for £1,250. I'm not looking for trades thanks but might consider a swap for a relatively lightweight Classic Ray Ida Nielsen Signature Bass Specs: - Chambered Alder Body - Creme Gloss, matching headstock - 6 bold Canadian Maple Neck - Maple Fretboard, luminova side dots - Black Block Inlays - Sandberg Black label Pickups - Thumb Rests - Black Pickguard with custom peace logo engraved - volume, pan, treble, bass, passive tone control - active/passive switching - Sandberg Gold Hardware with Hipshot extender on E string - Sandberg Gigbag

 13. Tom just bought a wireless system off me. It was a very ease deal indeed and he's a top guy. Highly recommended
