SOLD: Fender Japan Sting Signature 54 P Bass- £550
Old Horse Murphy replied to Old Horse Murphy's topic in Basses For Sale
You don't see too many of these around these days. I can't believe they're 21 years old..!
It's actually a 2001, sorry. It's the first year of manufacture for these basses, but follows the same Serial Number pattern as early 90's basses. My confusion, but apparently a common enough mistake with Japanese Serial Numbers -
For sale is a great condition Japanese Fender Sting Signature 54 P Bass from 2001 (first year of manufacture). It does have a few marks and dings which I've tried my best to photograph, but for a 14 year old bass it's in super condition. It weighs in at just over 8.5lbs with a lovely super-low action. It doesn't come with a gigbag unfortunately, but I'm willing to supply either a Fender SKB case from the recently American Series basses, or an early 80's Fender ABS case for additional cost. I have modified the input Jack socket and changed the original surround for one with screws, as the original Jack socket had the habit of pulling out! (A common problem with the 51-57 P Basses- original and reissues). Due to issues faced with couriers this time of year particularly, I'm looking for £550 and would rather the bass was picked up or arrange a meet half-way either from Woking (weekends) or Bristol (weekdays). I'm not looking for trades on this one thanks Here's some of the bumph on the Sting bass: Body - Body Shape: Precision Bass - Body wood: Ash Neck - Neck Shape: Thick "C" Shape - Number of Frets: 20 - Fret Size: Vintage Style Frets - Position Inlays: Block Inlaid Sting Signature at the 12th Fret, - Fretboard Radius: 7.25" (18.41 cm) - Fretboard: Maple - Neck Material: Maple - Nut Width: 1.625" (41.3 mm) - Scale Length: 34" (86.36 cm) - Neck Plate: Standard 4 Bolt Electronics - Pickup Configuration: Single Pickup - Middle Pickup: Original Single-Coil Precision Bass Pickup - Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone Hardware - Hardware: Chrome http://s945.photobuc...jpg8-5.jpg.html

For sale is a 2 week old Line 6 G30 wireless system that can be mounted on to a pedalboard and powered by a 9v ac power supply. It's absolutely spotless apart from some Velcro on the bottom. I bought this with this intention of going wireless but, hey, things change Currently selling for £130. This one is virtually new and I'm selling for £100 inc delivery.

Might be a bit obvious, but have you changed the battery? Happened to me once

For sale is a Musicman Bongo 4 HH born on January 5th, 2005, so an early Bongo. The colour is Lava Pearl (orangey-red metallic) and it has a pearloid pickguard. It comes with the original MM case which is structurally sound but well-used and scruffy. It's also strung with a set of Fender Flats. It's in great overall condition apart from a few dings that I've tried to photograph (including the obligatory chips on the headstock). Weight-wise I'd guess around 9lbs and it's a wonderful player with an amazing array of sounds. For sale is a 3 week old Walden G570 Grand Auditorium Guitar plus deluxe gigbag. It's in mint condition. Walden guitars are a bit of a well kept secret, but if you look at the numerous reviews available online, you'll see just how highly-regarded they are. They sound absolutely incredible too and that's the reason I bough this one. It was bought for a short project, but as I'm primarily a bass player, it's no longer required. The finish and fit are top class and the guitar sounds truly wonderful, very loud, deep and rich. It can be picked up from Woking (weekends) or Bristol (weekdays). Yours for £160 Here's the spec: G570 Body body shape: Grand Auditorium top material: Solid Western Red Cedar back material: Mahogany side material: Mahogany soundboard bracing: Scalloped-X Neck material: Mahogany nut width: 1 11/16 " fingerboard: Solid Rosewood trussrod: 2-way adjustable reinforcement: Glass-fiber rails Appointments binding: Black plastic rosette: 2-ring inlay tuners: Die-cast chrome logo: Pearl bridge: Walden Rosewood bridge nut & saddle: Fossalite Finish Satin Nitrocellulose Lacquer
