1. For sale is an absolutely mint condition 2014 Fender American Series Jazz Bass in the classic sunburst/rosewood/tortoise shell livery. This is the model that comes with Custom Shop pickups as standard. It comes complete with the Fender Tolex case, all the candy and has just been set up and strung with DR Sunbeams. It plays and sounds wonderful. It weighs in at around 8.5 lbs and has a beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with a lovely low action. I'll put some better pics up ASAP, but here are a few to be going on with. Both bass and case are immaculate. The bass can be picked up from either Woking (weekends) or Bristol (weekdays) and I'm happy to travel somewhat. Not looking for trades thank you. Yours for £950
2. Having been requested to weigh this, it comes in at 34kgs, but is very manageable with the casters and heavy duty handles

4. For sale is a virtually new Mesa Boogie M3 Carbine 1x12 Combo, complete with cover, original shipping box, paperwork and warranty card. I bought this new a few months ago, but it's not being used unfortunately. It's the 300w, 4 ohm version (Mesa watts, so VERY LOUD) and weighs in at approx 35kgs (casters attached for ease of moving.) It sounds wonderful and has superb reviews Here's some more info: The New M3 CARBINE makes Custom, Hand Built, American Made quality accessible to any bassist who wants more from their amp. Our Customers have been trusting us to build fine musical instruments for Bass since 1969. The New M3 packs the same ultra-fast, naturally musical Carbine preamp and TRANS-CLASS™ power as its big-power siblings. This new package satisfies all the Tone requirements of discriminating bassists while being truly wallet-friendly. Power-wise the M3 weighs in at 300 watts produced by the warm, yet super responsive mosfet power block. I may consider trades for a Fender American Vintage Reissue Jazz, or a smaller Markbass combo plus cash my way.
5. Graeme bought my Korg Rack tuner from me recently. He's a thoroughly nice guy and highly recommended
6. Andy bought my G&L bass from me recently in a totally hassle-free deal. He's a lovely guy and I couldn't recommend him highly enough
7. Here's my recently acquired Eastern European 3/4 size DB currently strung with Thomastik Spiro Weichs and having just been set up by Edward Gaut of Bristol. Edward fitted a new sound post ( original was rubbish), reshaped the bridge and set the action (currently 7.5mm, 7mm, 6.5mm, 6mm). Fortunately the fingerboard didn't need any work. It's semi-solid with flame maple sides and back. I also went for the antique finish as I prefer it to the gloss finish that was available I've got a Realist incoming and our very own Clarky has lent me a gut D and G string to see how I get on with the lower tension. PS Please excuse the state of the carpet and don't tell my wife I took photos without running the Dyson round first! 8. I've always had a love/ hate thing with Jazzes but seem to have one hanging around. Here's my latest. It's a mint condition American New Series Jazz and it's lovely
9. Hi Bob Hope you're well. My offer of the G&L L2500 still stands if you're interested Cheers Nick
10. For sale is a some recently acquired Sandberg chrome hardware that I bought to replace the gold hardware on my Ida Nielsen Signature model. Sadly though, the tuners on the Ida bass are different from standard Sandberg tuners, so rather than alter the bass, I'll keep the gold hardware. Its all official, genuine Sandberg kit and is in superb, pretty-much mint condition. Included is the bridge, tuners, tuner bushings, string guide and 4 knobs (all for a 4 string bass). All relevant screws are included too. I'd rather sell all together, but would possibly split if necessary. £100 delivered, which is what I paid for it all.
11. Edward Gaut based in Brislington, Bristol has just done some work on my DB (including new bridge, sound post, set up, putting on new strings etc). I dropped the bass off on Tuesday night and it was all done by this evening. A lovely guy who also makes his own stunning violins, violas and cellos. Very reasonably priced and happy to talk you through the intricacies and foibles of stringed instruments. http://www.edwardgautviolins.co.uk
12. Sid recently did me a deal on some chrome Sandberg hardware he was selling. He couldn't have been easier to deal with was thoroughly pleasant and helpful throughout. Highly recommended
13. I've never been a big fan of Warwicks, but I really like your Streamer
14. For sale is a Black Gedo Musik branded padded gigbag for 3/4 Double Bass (white Gedo Musik lettering on accessories pocket) in as new condition. It has approximately 7mm padding all the way round with an accessories pouch and one for a bow too. It also has shoulder straps and carry handles. Unfortunately because it's black and huge it's very difficult to photograph! It is a nice bit of kit though for transporting a DB from house to car or other gentle journeys. I'm looking for £35 and it can be picked up from either Woking (weekdays) or Bristol (weekends)
15. I spent an hour or so with Adam this morning and not only picked up his virtually new Fender US Jazz but I was also delighted to be offered a go on his sublime 64 Jazz. A thoroughly lovely guy and I couldn't recommend him highly enough
