1. I have one too. It's lasted at least 5 hours in one go and easy to recharge from a laptop or car USB charger on the hoof if necessary. A great bit of kit
2.
Lovely Nick (not you obviously ). I have had a couple of the US 75 RI's and they really were fabulous basses. GLWTS Bump.
Cheeky Sod. I'll have you know my Mum thinks I'm lovely
3. After umming and ahhing about keeping my Mike Lull I thought I'd test the water with a couple of other Jazz basses I currently own. I have 2 Geddy Lees at the moment (trade) so have decided to put one up for sale and keep one. This bass is a 2007 Fender Japan Geddy Lee Jazz with Fender gigbag and Badass bridge. It also comes with the white factory fitted pickguard and a parchment coloured pearloid pickguard (as pictured). It's in super condition apart from a tiny mark on the back of the body and a very small ding on the back of the neck. As above, these are hardly noticeable and impossible to photograph. It's currently strung with TI Roundwounds and has one of the lowest actions I've ever played. Weight-wise it comes in at just under 9lbs I'm looking for £575 for this bass. It can be picked up from either Woking (weekends) or Bristol (weekdays). I will also post fully insured for approx £20. No trades please as I'm trying to be sensible
4. For sale is a Chrome Badass II bridge (not string-through and is secured with 5 screws a la Fender BBOT Bridges). It's in pretty decent condition but there is a bit of tarnishing and a ting bit of pitting next to the E string Saddle. I'll get pics up ASAP Yours for £55 plus £3 P&P.
5.
It is, he pm'd me the serial
Well blow me down! Dave must've moved it on rather quickly
6. I'm certain it's not your one Pete. I sold it to a guy down in Defon/Cornwall. I'm sure it was Daveski, so unless he packed it off to the Gallery he must still have it
7. Just answering a couple of questions that I thought I'd share rather than by PM: The white pickguard is the original one but the black one was bought from Mike Lull, so both are original Lulls I'm not interested in trades thank you
8.
Nick, is the Aquilar eq 3-band or 2-band and does it have a passive switch with passive tone control? Also is it configured as Vol/Vol or Vol/Blend? Thanks
Hi Ian Apologies but it's actually the Bartolini preamp. Not sure where I got Aguilar from Controls are vol/blend/treble/stacked mid and bass pot. There's passive bypass on. The treble pot (a pull out).
9. For sale is my stunning Mike Lull M4V (modern vintage with active circuit) Jazz bass in sunburst. It comes with the Batrolini preamp and Fralin pickups and plays and sounds wonderful. Controls are vol/blend/treble/ stacked mid and bass pot (passive bypass on the treble pot when pulled out). Weight-wise it's the lightest bass I've owned (under 8lbs) and the neck is simply superb. It's an Ash body and the neck has a stunning maple neck (the fingerboard is gorgeous birds eye). The action/playability is lovely and low so it's an easy, effortless bass to play. Each one is hand-built by Mike Lull and fully PLEKD at the workshop. It also comes with a brand new Protec Contego Gigbag and one black and one white pickguard. Condition-wise it's mint apart from a tiny ding just above the strap button on the top horn. I managed to do it while changing the original strap pins to Schaller straplocks Unfortunately due to work commitments, I can't justify 2 basses of this quality and value, so the last one in has to go. I'm looking for £1,750 for this. Current retail price is well over £2k with this spec and with the active electronics. It can be picked up from either Woking (weekends) or Bristol (weekdays). I would also be happy to post.
