2. Dimensions 30” x 19” x 2.75” Looking for £25. The larger version of the Gramma pad. Apparently this is the Joe Bonamassa signature model... One or two minor knocks, but overall in VG condition. Collection preferred (I am based in North Essex), or buyer to arrange shipping. Pic below.
3. This has been gathering dust for a few years. You will see from the pics that it has ‘mojo’. However, it is playable and the preamp is in good order. Looking for £40! Collection preferred, or buyer to arrange shipping. No trades please. Pics below.
4. For sale is my FSR Precision. It has undergone the following modifications: - Seymour Duncan SPB1 pickup - Fender tort pickguard - Badass II bridge with grooved saddles - Hipshot bass Xtender Looking for £600. All original parts and Fender gig bag included. You will also see from the pics that it has picked up some ‘mojo’ from my thumbnail, and from buckle rash on the back. From new it looked like this: https://www.anderton...ined-honeyburst Collection preferred, or buyer to arrange shipping. However, I would be happy to meet up within a reasonable distance (I am based in North Essex). No trades please. Pics below.
5. Wow +1 I have never heard of this band before. Will definitely check some more out. (The percussionist does look like the spare prick at a wedding though).
6. This sounds like good material for Dave Vader's next book.
7. LifesonLee has more of a ring to it.
8. Most cool. Can anyone beat that? I know I can't.
9. I have played it as G A G for years. This thread did have me doubting whether that was correct, but on balance I think that I'll stick with it.
10. Probably a frequent stop on musical journeys, but I wouldn't say it was up there with death and taxes.
11. The theme to the most recent version of Tomorrow's World was the middle section of 'In Pursuit of Happiness' by the Divine Comedy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCvR2FIdhzY Neil Hannon also responsible for the Father Ted theme tune (and My Lovely Horse).
12. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Lick their faces. They will stop.
13. For me the eighties were all about Iron Maiden, I didn't realise there were other bands at that time...
14. Dirty Protest
15.
It' s just banter.
This. I find it hilarious.
16. This can be very frustrating for the musicians. However, I have found that these people are often enjoying the music, albeit more passively than we would prefer. So on the positive side, where the band isn't the main draw, we can still feel comfortable that we are doing our job - keeping people in the bar, buying beer.
17. I would say that being able to wing it if the situation calls for it is a strength. Not so if that's someone's normal MO, though.
18. For me, any issues that can't be resolved as part of a normal rehearsal start to ring alarm bells. (I'm assuming here that these are interpersonal type issues, and you're not planning a new project together). Putting the girlfriend matter to one side, do you think that this meeting scenario is something that you would expect everyone to leave feeling 100% happy?
19. Tony just bought my SWR Amp. Great guy. Also let me have a go on his bass - that's given me something to think about! Hope you enjoy the amp Tony. Cheers.
20. Seems a lot. I didn't go to see RHCP in December for this reason. However, it's no more expensive than decent tickets for a West End show.
21. Thanks. Probably best that I get a grown up to do it for me.
22. I make no apologies if this is a stupid question as I know virtually nothing about electronics: Before I get to work on my Studio 220, is this something that anyone could do, or are any tools required?
