But there are lots of members of originals bands that are not involved in the music writing of the band.
That's exactly my point.
I think that the clips highlight what can be done when you have a great singer and a great drummer.
Regarding the ongoing covers v originals debate, I see it this way: You either wrote the music you are performing or you didn't.
I really enjoyed it, and the Q&A session beforehand. Heavy going though. The conductor must have been knackered.
Next stop ZPZ on the 11th - can't wait!

Sadly, that's not allowed! You have to start on the Nov 1 with a clean shaven face. It's surprising how much facial hair some guys can grow in a month! Not me though - mine grows quite slowly and is ginger!!

So do I shave tonight or in the morning? This kind of thing could confuse a stupid person.

My band "The Xergrudelybooglers" resent that our name has been used in this thread.
Please cease and desist.

I think that I may now have to rename my band "The Essex Xergrudelybooglers" (unless that's already taken).
I just bought Tom's FSR Precision.
The process couldn't have been simpler. I contacted Tom on Saturday afternoon and the bass was delivered by Tuesday lunchtime.
Tom's packing was excellent.
Tom - thanks again. As I said in my PM - I am a very happy boy.

Wow. Hadn't seen this one before. Thanks for posting!
I have just noticed a thin crack in the laquer on the underside of the neck joint. It won't show up on a photo, but I have taken £50 off the price in view of this.

That colour is amazing! I'd love that with a pearloid scratchplate.

Hadn't thought of that. Tempting, though, isn't it?

I imagine you named this fine bass after the equally fine Gail Ann Dorsey?
Indeed I did (I play in a Bowie tribute band).
Cheers
