  1. My Limelight P is absolutely the best playing p I've ever had my paws on. This will be a great bass for someone.
  2. Try running it with a 3sigma db810 ir. Bloody brilliant.
  3. If you're doing gigs of this size, I'd be more inclined to look at PA upgrades rather than bass amp. Once you get to the point where you're running 2 Super Compacts on stage then the on stage volume will be getting daft imho.
  4. Paul just bought my Aguilar DB750. An absolute pleasure to deal with and really fast payment. Thanks Paul and enjoy that beast of a head!
  5. Just installed latest firmware update. The DB751 is very convincing. Seems like fate that the day after I sell my Aguilar DB750 to be replaced by the helix that they gift me a DB751. I've paired it with a 3sigma aguilar db810 impulse and it sounds so close to the real thing.
  6. Yep. I've gigged this setup half a dozen times now. I love it. The FR800s are so good that you can go from crystal clean to huge overdrive and everything in between and they just lap it up. The helix is so versatile and the options are endless. I love the versatility of the eqs and the fact I can have whatever I want to hear on stage and if necessary something totally different out front. I'm so happy with it that I just sold my Aguilar DB750 rig knowing it won't get used again.
  7. I can throw in some good quality sandpaper ;-)
  8. TV just died so I need to fund a replacement or else I'll have to make conversation with the in-laws at xmas. Make me an offer.
  9. Lets have a "tv just died and the in-laws are coming for christmas so tv needs replacing or else I'll have to talk to them" type bump.
  10. SOLD
  11. On hold
  12. Almost forgot I had this type bump.
  13. That's a beauty. GLWTS
  14. The sale of this never happened as the barefaced FR800s I was replacing it with were delayed due to the 12 inch drivers being out of stock. I had to hold on to it until the FR800s arrived. They're here now so this is again up for sale. Big Jim I've pm'd you but not heard back so up it goes.
  15. No rush to sell but have dropped price to £500
  16. New bass now ordered. Fully insured postage included.
  17. Would you PM me some info about your business? It sounds like possibly it might be worth me having a more serious chat with you. Cheers
  18. That's something we really haven't ever done so I'll look into it today. Much appreciated.
  19. Can anyone recommend agents that they have worked with for wedding / function gigs. One of my bands has tried Alive Network and a few of the bigger agents but so far we haven't managed to get on their books so looking for some possible alternative places to apply. We have basic diy promo videos etc and are happy to invest in professional productions but it's tricky as we've found many of the agents don't want branded media. Do we make an unbranded video that costs a lot but isn't much use elsewhere? When we play gigs we tend to pick up more work but things are thinning out and we could do with a bit of support on the booking front. Any advice or suggestions welcome.
  20. Has anyone else's feedback gone missing. I had a decent amount but now I only have a thread with a single post on it. I'd really like to find my original thread as I'm selling a few bits at the moment and it would help to have my feedback available for potential buyers to see.
  21. I'll give this a bump. Not in any desperate rush to sell but will listen to sensible offers.
  22. I have a pair of RCF ART 322a active speakers for sale. Fabulous sound quality (much nicer than the 312s thanks to the 2inch hf voice coil) and plenty loud enough for solos, duos or bands. They've seen plenty of gigs so there's a fair few surface scratches (mostly from taking them in and out of the covers) and the pots are a little crackly when adjusting. Other than that they are working perfectly. £500 for the pair including slightly tatty but functional covers (zips on back panel don't close but panels tuck in nicely) collected from South Northamptonshire. Trial more than welcome.
  23. It's because "plays like cabbage" doesn't sound as good.
  24. Can't post as I don't have a box.
