1.
rats get pretty gnarly! try a fuzzrocious rat tail http://www.fuzzrocio...om/rattail.html
+1 I've got a Rat King and it's awesome. "Proper" distortion and a huge range of tone options.
2. When I was doing covers (pubs/clubs) we'd want (and get) £3-500 + soft drinks for 2 X 1 hour sets. £700 for 4 hours sounds perfectly reasonable.
3. You've already said you're getting some better pics (which was the first thing that hit me). What the content says to me is - WE DO DRUMS. Oh, we do voiceovers too. That may be intentional, but if you're also marketing towards bands, solo artists and labels I'd put some explicit content for them too.
4. Current NME Small Venue of the Year, The Forum in Tunbridge Wells are having a busy time of late with metal bands. http://www.twforum.co.uk
5. As the title says, we're playing guildford in a few weeks. A new venue for us and we're on first. About 7.30 I believe.
6. Just seen the poster over on Facebook... very stylish
7.
Yeah, or at least a Bass version.
D'oh - the bt stands for bluetooth not bass toy!
8.
I quite like the idea of the MS-100BT as well.
I wish they did an Android app for that.
9. Just bought a Boss LMB-3 off Matt - great communication throughout, pics when requested, well packaged and promptly posted. Deal couldn't have gone smoother. Nic
10.
I'd recommend the Korg SV1 secondhand - new they are about £1300 but can be found second hand. Amazing keybed, and the best rhodes/wurlitzers/clavs you can find. Lovely piano sounds too. Check out videos etc. Looks great too. http://www.korg.com/sv1
Great organ sounds too. I've been lusting after one of these since I recently saw a band with one of these.
11. I like my Bass Blogger - someone on BC is selling one for £20.

All Gone

PM on way re LMB
13.
The Alexander what ...?
A methodology for breathing and body movement to reduce stresses (and damage). It's not specific to music - I think it originated in the acting world (?) - but can allegedly help in just about any physical activity. Let me now if you're doing any accoustic gigs south of the river.
14. One massive benefit that I have had from Basschat is the realisation that being over 25 doesn't mean you have to be in a covers band. For the last few years I've been in an originals act with, on the whole, other "mature" musicians. Great fun is had by all and I get an enormous sense of satisfaction from it when it all goes well. I've also seen some great bands that I probably wouldn't have found otherwise, including (but not limited to) Burning Organ (SilverfoxNik), The Plan (WaynePunkDude), The Jetsonics (Low End Bee), The Alibi (Walman).
15. I think my playing has probably gone backwards due to now spending most of my time obsessing about what sort of kit I need rather than actually playing. On the other hand, at least I now know which bass is best for metal
16. Any interest in trading for an EHX Bass Blogger?

My First ACG

That is niiiiice
18. Are there front and rear rails? Are they adjustable for height?
19. From your other thread and this one, I've picked up "smooth", "punch" and "sweeter" and not wanting to colour the sound too much with tone controls. Perhaps a compressor? It's a subtle effect, but you said in the other thread you're close to your tone, so a suitable comp may just give you that last bit. Be warned though, not all comps are created equal, good ones tend to be expensive and they can be a b1tch to learn to set up if you don't understand compression.
20. Damn, I thought wrist bands were my own special thing.
21. He is on Basschat, but not frequently as far as I can tell.
22.
I'd try all 3 and buy which played and sounded the best.
This
23. Nice, you'll cover a lot of tones with the OSD and GS
24.
Awesome....pics of the kid-paint please . My Grey Stache is a kid-paint. I was jealous of you, so I ordered a custom paint Oh See Demon yesterday lol Si
Happy to oblige - A bright orange stickman with white bits! Pics of yours when you get it pease.
25.
That's so cool, wish I had a secret Fuzzrocious for christmas Si
Happy happy joy joy!! I got given the package earlier. Inside was a Kid-paint Rat King. Have brought it home and had a quick play though my Pod and 'phones. The range of tones is huge!! The option of having two different levels of distortion is great (most of the time I'm either clean or a bit of grit but a couple of our songs require a full on creamy distortion). Plus, if nothing else, the feedback loop will be great for drowning out the guitarist when he goes on a between songs widdle-fest
