Enjoy mate! I have 5 white Spectors now (NS2, NS2A, Euro LX, NS2-JA and Bassman's Wimbish) and to my mind the most beautiful looking and best sounding basses known to man....

I'm on a ferry to France right now but I'll check when I get home at the weekend. I can't remember if I sold it. A search through the for sale forums might reveal the answer though. Poor signal ahoy so I can't really check.

No worries. I'll PM you to remind you for when you get back mate
Sounds to me like he needs to EQ his rig a little better as Spectors punch like hell..... However, if he had a smiley face EQ set up on his amps then all punch would be lost....

It's a world of difference. I never liked the tone pump or the US Spector preamp so I switched them out.

Sean, do you still have the US preamp?
If so, please PM me as I'd be interested in buying it off you. Cheers!
I love the neck/feel/tone on the early Warwicks but haven't got on with any since
Spectors on the other hand are a completely different ball game as far as I'm concerned. Superb basses at every price point. If you can afford top prices you can get a boutique-style instrument from their US workshop. If your budget is a little more modest then the Euro models are fantastic sounding and playing instruments which to my ears sound 90% as good as the US models.
Below that the Korean made instruments are of excellent quality and great value for money. Spector also have superb customer service and a fantastic reputation built on 40 years of master-building.
Just mho....
A suggestion for all. If you see a rare bass for sale on here - do a google search and see if it was for sale elsewhere recently. You may find, as I did, that someone is selling a bass on here for at least £800 (!!) more than he bought it for just days ago....
I'd hate to see anyone fall into the trap...
Bought 2 x 9th row centre stalls tickets with ease from GetToTheFront at 9.30am last Friday. I figured it best to avoid the obvious ticket sites and and also to go for a midweek date. Thankfully I figured right....! *Phew*

i love this bass and only lack of funds and space are stopping me buying!

I know mate..... these are crazy times! I'm not desperate enough to let it go any cheaper though so here it'll stay or I may decide to keep it....

There are quite a few Spector players on the forum, myself included.
Don't know if you've seen this, but here's a link to the Spector Porn thread:

Check out Cetera's collection - pretty impressive!

Thank you darlin'
Personally, best basses I've ever played..... I swear by them.
Whatever level you buy at..... Legend, ReBop, Euro or US you won't be disappointed. The second hand prices are silly cheap these days too so grab a bargain!
It's worth £750 - £900 depending on what the market will bear.
I'd never let a EuroLX go for less than that, even more so as as new ones are these days almost £2k! The market is slow at the moment, but it WILL pick up so hang onto it for now or trade it for something else of the same value.
