1. I'll take it. PM'd
2. I do have my Compressor (Empress) before it but it still farts out.....
3. So, I have a lovely old Boss OC-2 pedal which gives me smooth, clean 1-octave down tones when using my Fender & Tokai passive basses. However, when I plug my Haz-loaded US Spectors in it becomes distorted and if I plug an 18v Tonepump loaded Euro Spector in it becomes distorted with terrible tracking. Does anyone have a real world experience/recommendations for a nice OC-2 look clean octave pedal which can handle the higher output of active basses (in particular Spectors or others with very high output)? For clarification - I'm not looking for mad synth octave bass sounds - just nice clean 1 octave down action... I've been pointed towards the 3Leaf Octabvre... (very expensive) and the MXR.... but don't want to waste time/risk purchasing something completely unsuitable. Cheers!
4. Nice! Sadly I have no need for the extra string....
5. I'll bite...... as per the previous post - Spector. From the very start (& even when owned by Kramer for a few years) they have always had one constant guiding their product. Stuart Spector himself. He's always ensured that anything with his name on it is of a high standard at ALL price points. The man is a legend..... and a master of customer service too!
6. Bump! One of these just sold on ebay in the US for over $1100....
7. Mark sold me his Gator shallow rack. Great item and fab communication. Cheers mate!
8. The customer service and personal touch they always have are just a couple of the reasons I swear by Spector. They look and sound just how I want them to, play like butter and make me smile every time I pick them up.... PJ and Stuart are legends!
9. I'll take it mate. Please PM me with your address/phone details

Love my 400RBs and 800RBs but had no problems save the FX loop fix. May be worth contacting Surrey Amps or Guitar Aid to see what they say?

17. Crazy eh? I'm not willing to let it go for less though (they're £800+ new and this bass is pretty much MINT) and I'm in no HUGE hurry anyway.
18. Yep, still available. Plays great, lowish action and nice solid 60's p bass style neck. Will try to get a pic or two more for you....

20. I'm a founder member and still play (25 years later) in the KISS tribute band "Dressed To Kill" (www.facebook.com/kisstributeuk) which involves prowling around in 7" monster stackheeled boots, breathing fire, spitting blood and letching at young ladies..... Not a bad job and it's taken me all over the UK, Scandinavia, mainland Europe and Japan.... I also play in "Rock Anthems presents....Live & Dangerous" which is an incredibly accurate aural recreation of Thin Lizzy's classic live album.......and also dep for the "Supersonic 70's Show"...
21.
Just saw an interview where he said he fell off stage and broke the lobue bass and just gave it to the audience.
He made that up. He often talks crap sadly.... He gave it to Micki Free (of Shalamar) who had it stolen from the trunk of his car. It's never been seen since....
22. I was so gutted when I heard the news this afternoon. Another one of my faves has left the building.... RIP Rutger
