4. Bargain! Wish I wasn't skint.... Any trades?
5. Cheers Merello..... amazed it's still here....!
6. Seriously considering withdrawing this bass from sale.... it's so pretty.....
7. I haven't any experience with the TW's (all mine have PJ's) but Spector Euro's as a whole are some of the FINEST basses I've ever played. Superb feel, sound, build quality and value for money. You can't go wrong....
8.
I saw one cheap and wondered what all the fuss was about.
There is no fuss about the cheapest ones....
9.
I had a Spector, it looked sh*t, it sounded sh*t, it played sh*t, they are sh*t.
Possibly one of the most ridiculous comments ever on Basschat.....
10. Craig bought my Fender Jazz bass Special. Great guy, a pleasure to deal with and highly recommended!
11. Ben bought one of my many Spectors..... top bloke, honest, trustworthy and with a fine taste in music (i.e. KISS' Music from the elder album!) Enjoy, mate!
12. Thanks guys..... enjoy your new instruments!
13. It's down to budget.... If you can afford a US Spector NS2 then do it - you WON'T regret it..... but the resale value takes a dive due to the more 'boutique' price on a new one. If you can find a used one (good luck!) then go for it! If you can't afford/don't want to spend as much then you can't go wrong with the Euro series. Superb basses, build quality is second to none, tone to die for and good resale value. Should you not be a fan of the Tonepump preamp then it's easy to swap out for an Aguilar/EMG or similar to suit your needs...
14.
Cracker!
Cheers chap! It certainly is....
15. If I didn't have some other purchases I WOULD take this - they're getting rare! New GKs just don't sound as good....
16. Have a bump for the BEST amp for sale on Basschat... I've got two (they're THAT good) and wish I'd played them all my bass playing years!
17. The bass IS active.... and believe it or not there is a volume control for the P pickups on the E/A side and a volume control for the P pickups on the D/G side which is unusual/cool! The third volume control is for the J pickup...
18. Cheers all! It's a naturally aged cream pearl now.... not really yellow as such...
19. Hi Mike, No thanks, sale only...
20. The interest is there Dave, but no biters yet. I won't be reducing the price on this so anyone circling needs to bite soon!
21. Lovely bass..... tuners need to be moved into correct position rather than Warwick style though
