1. Lots of interest but still here.... for now! I'm away from home this weekend so unable to get over to my storage to take pics but condition is as new. If anyone really wants some pics I can prob get them to you next week... For those of you trying to raise funds - a certain credit card (B*****yc**d) have a rather splendid 22month interest free deal on You could use it to pay me via Paypal
2. Cheers, Mr Williams! It's still in the same condition I got it from you and I know you'd barely played through it....
3. I’ve got a rather unique Spector bass incoming so I need to sell some gear to pay for it. Sadly that means that this cab – which I always wanted – has to go I’ve barely used it since I got it (only 2 shows and the original owner only played it on half a dozen ‘theatre’ shows!) – and certainly not in anger. It is therefore presented in all-but-MINT condition and even comes with the padded cover (worth £100 in itself)! I’m sure you all know what this thing is capable of – it is nicknamed the ‘SVT slayer’ but that is really just ONE of its tonal capabilities. This cab FILLS any room with deep bass, punching mids and glassy treble to your personal requirement with headroom that seems to go on forever. Whether it's old school vintage thump, studio-style clarity or modern distorted grind you want - you will never need another cab as this does them all with style! Here’s what the gumph says: “The NV 610 (New vintage) is everything you ever loved about 8 x 10's, but it's far easier to move around and more articulate. It really punches through a mix, and has surprising upper midrange to high end clarity (and grind) as there is no tweeter. This is a sealed cabinet design, it also has tilt back casters for ease of moving this 3' cab. This cab loves power and will thrive with large S/S or tube amps of 1000w +. Old School and Modern, clean and distorted sounds - the 6x10 does them all with style! “ It’s VERY easy to move around with tilt back casters at the bottom and solid handles on the top & sides. I can even fit it in the back of my Fiesta with the back seat down Model NV610 specifications: •6-10" woofers with vented pole pieces •power handling - 750 watts rms •frequency response: 48hz - 4.5khz •sensitivity: 103db 1watt/1metre •2 x 1/4" and 2 x neutrik connectors •impedance: 4 ohms •dimensions: 36"H x 24"W x 15"D •weight: 98lbs/44.4Kgs •tilt-back casters The cheapest you’ll find this new is £1200 (inc cover) but I will let this one (that’s barely left the forecourt!) go for just *SOLD*. I will accept direct bank transfer, Paypal (you pay all fees) or cash on collection. Collection is from Guildford, Surrey though I may deliver within a 100 mile radius for petrol/time costs if you're VERY nice to me... Please see my extensive feedback for assurance of a clean and honest transaction.
4. Cheers Dave! Yep it's a cracker of a bass - will be sad to see it go but needs must... See you at Lanark!
5. Ah, if this were only a 4-stringer....
6. GREAT bass! I have a black one and a white one. Good luck with your sale
7. Price drop BUMP! The buyers are circling - who's gonna bite first?!
8. If i had the spare cash - I'd have it back in the fold! That was a lovely bass....
9. Interested to know about trades

Spectors?!
I think the US bolt-on models have the Aguilar preamp as standard.
That is correct. However, the legendary NS2 series for which Spector is most well known is powered by the Spector Hazlab circuit.

Spectors?!

I have owned approx 25 Spectors over the years and currently have 15+ in my arsenal. From Legend 4X Classics to NS2000's to Rex's to ReBops to Euros/EuroLX's and full US NS2s and NONE of them have ever let me down. Supreme workmanship, quality control and of course TONE! Imho NOTHING sounds as good as or cuts through like a Spector and they will always be my go-to bass of choice A quick correction - TomRichards - the US basses come with the stunning Spector Hazlab preamp as standard NOT the Obp...
12. Sold my P project to the splendid Stew! Excellent communication and a clean transaction. Recommended!
13. Ash & Stew.... my pleasure chaps! :-)
14. Now SOLD!
15. It is indeed.... yet so familiar in its hot rod P-bass stylings
16. Stewart - see PM :-) Yep, my tardiness in not getting around to sorting electrics is soon to be someone's major gain!
17.
Shame - If it was definitely a MIJ Fender fotoflame, I'd snatch your arm off.
If it was one of them it wouldn't be £100!
18. Thanks guys - yes it's a beauty.... plays so well and has such bold tones!
19. One of my fave bassist of recent years...... this is SO sad RIP Bob and thank you so much for the music....
20.
Anything written in the neck pocket at all?
I don't believe there's anything of note, no...
21. Not at the moment but if you buy the bass you can sell the other parts on
22. Dannybuoy... no idea, sorry but seem decent and solid!
23. OK, time for another bass to leave the fold. I really love this bass but have over extended myself financially recently so something has to give.... This is my lovely Schecter Model-T bass in black with black pickguard, Seymour duncan pickups, heavy duty chrome bridge/hardware and rosewood board. soundwise it covers the spectrum....from deep full tones on the P pickup to honky tight nasal tones on the J pickup. Combine the two and you have a tight rocking tone....and the output seems almost 'active' in power and clarity. Condition is excellent - just the lightest of knocks on the headstock end (typical) and some light usage scratches on the back of the body. There's also a spot of velcro on the bottom edge by the input (where a little wireless transmitter attached). This can easily be removed. Current shop price - IF you can find one - is in the region of £520 - £500 so I will accept *SOLD* + courier (or collected from Guildford, Surrey area...or Central London) Direct Bank Transfer or Cash preferred, but Paypal accepted if you cover all fees.
