1. Sadly my tech has told me the neck is twisted beyond what's worth spending on it so will be returning it for a refund
2. Will do, chaps..... just give me a few days as I'm mad busy at the moment and I've given it to my tech to set up/clean up etc
3. Just scored an off-white, thru-neck, 80's 'NJ Series' BC Rich Eagle with a double set of DiMarzio P pickups in it for £89 from Cash Convertors! Needs a clean & set up - but the powerful P bass sound is shining through already! Never thought I'd find a decent bass bargain in there but it seems it was worth my while for once!
4.
Those are very positive comments indeed from a [s]fussy bugger like you[/s] discerning bass guitar aficionado such as yourself! Seriously though, can you see how the V7 circuit put me in mind of the TonePump?
How very dare you?!?!! Yep, the active circuit certainly has that same amazing boost (& cut) capability!
5. Rec'd my white, alder V7 with rosewood board today...... and...... WOW.... Straight out of the box it sounded bold and resonant unplugged which is always a good sign! Then I plugged it in and instant even tones rang out with plenty of punch where required..... THEN I flicked the active switch......... and had to go and lie down.....
6. Is that really a shallow case? Top pic is hard to tell scale.... If so, I'll take it. Please PM me payment info.... Cheers!
7. Stunner! Sadly I'm buyng a car at the moment so my Spector collecting has to take a back seat....
8.
Happy with what I've got now - at the moment - but high-end Spector GAS is rearing its ugly head again...
It never goes away
9.
Gary, you DO realise it's not a Spector, don't you??
Lol! Yes..... it's OK, I own Hamers, Jacksons, Fenders, ESPs, Wals, Peaveys, Fernandes', etc etc too This was just TOO good a bass to pass up for my arsenal....
10. Just ordered this very bass....... damn you!
11. Yep, me too..... and I've got two as well (just in case...)
12. A beauty!
13. I'll take the 4u shallow Citronic please mate. Please PM me with payment info and I'll supply postal address etc.
14. I know.... it's ridiculous mate! Got a few 'interested parties' though so we'll see.....
15.
NBD; Euro 4LX TW. Beautiful!
Nice!! Congrats
16. BARGAIN alert!! If I didn't already have an identical one (in colour and model) I'd be biting your hand off.....

20. Yep, get another Euro....
21.
And doesn't sound anywhere near as good as he used to.
Agreed.... though that's probably as much to do with him using Hartke/Ampeg live (hired) rather than his GKs.....
22.
Not like ...so sounds like anyone can have a pimped up spector at the moment guess choose a colour and your there ...
To be fair - Rachel Bolan and Mike Starr have been influential in the use and promotion of the Spector brand for many years. I would argue that over the years (after Sting) Gene Simmons and Eddie Jackson (Queensryche) have been more influential in their use though and deserve sig models more.... but Gene is too expensive (and has his own basses) and Eddie now uses Mike Lull's live....
