1.
High Heeled Sneakers is often part of our live set - I had, mistakenly perhaps always believed the venue's PRS license covered the songs played there.
It is covered under the PRS licence.
 2. You can pretty much play what you like 'live' and put it on CDs that are given away free for 'promo'. It's only if you sell 'product' with the recording on that you will get into murky waters.... For clarification ring PRS Membership Dept or continue your contact with the MU.....
 3.
I've had a look on the forum for a topic on this and havnt yet found one. Basically im in the process of completely re-fitting an old bass with some new electronics. I already have a set of EMG - HZ 40 pickups to go in, but I cant seem to match up a decent pre-amp. Looking for 1 Master Volume, 1 Master Blend and a bass and treble EQ oh yea and I want the EQ active. Does anyone know if the Bartolini sets are any good?? Thanks
Ask if anyone wants to sell their 'Spector Tonepump' in the 'Wanted' forum... that should do you....
 4.
Sorry but.... Why would anyone pay up to £600+ to go play for free for someone you never met? Doesn`t spec who hires the gear/drives the van. SOME food will be provided, so no P.Ds either. Also, the amount of gigs is pretty vague, between 7 &12? So he doesn`t know, and its a month away? Big Hmmmmmm Also, I`m presuming he will be getting a proper work visa and not just a tourist visa? You really don`t want the seppos gripping you working without a work visa. They dont appreciate it. So, less than a month to pay for your flight, and work visa, and learn the tunes and cancel any paying work you may have already. Who could resist?
Big +1
 5.
I'll say it again: Hmmmm..... http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...p;#entry1197957 This wasn't a misunderstanding methinks.
Doesn't look good, it must be said....
 6. Deal now being done!
 7.
HAHAHAHA!!! Brilliant, Cetera finds a puddle in his trousers at the thought!!
Tell me about it..... I must now enter into negotiations while washing my underwear!
 8. Ringing you in a few minutes mate!!!
 9. I'm pretty much GAS-free (thank God) but there a few things I'd still LIKE to own... Basses: Spector SB1 custom build Spector NS2X (Thunderbird shape) Fender 'Steve Harris' Precision Fender Jazz MIJ/CIJ 75RI in 3TS Mouradian CS-74 Ibanez Saber/Sabre Bass (in petrol purple preferably) 80's/early 90's Warwick Streamer with EMGs Yamaha BB2004 or BBNE2 (black or white) Amps/Cabs: Genz Benz Streamliner Bergantino NV610 - Edit: OOPS! Just gone and bought one!
 10. Stunning bass! So glad it's not a 4-string or I'd be having GAS overload...
 11.
Now I'm left with the choice of tracking one down on the 'bay or going for a cheapie Behringer model. Anyone got any experience of these? Folks turn their noses up at Behringer kit I've noticed, but their kit seems to have a good level of reliability on the road...
Dont.... just DON'T....
 12. Bumping for our gigs THIS weekend: April 15th Stourbridge 'River Rooms' 16th Ipswich 'Manor Ballroom'
 13. An oddity with this amp is also that the drive control is on FULL when at the lowest (7 o'clock) position and OFF when at the highest (5 o'clock) position!
 14.
Ooh that Bergatino cab does look like a good solution. Do they come up used much? Jack
Sadly, hardly ever...
 15.
Get a Berg NV610
^ this....
 16.
The SVT3PRO needs to have the Master on full and the Gain balancing your volume. If you have the EQ section switched on (I didn't bother with this) then the volume fader will affect your overall volume. There is a 15 db cut button. Don't push this in or you will loose a lot of volume.
^ This..... The SVTIIIPro has no lack of power if used correctly...
 17.
This may sound somewhat 'blasphemous' but if you like the idea/look/feel of a Streamer then i'd definitely check out the 'original' version - a Spector I've owned a few of these & much preferred them to my old Streamer.
+1
 18.
... In fact, Stuart Spector designed it....

Er, wasn't it Ned Steinberger?
It was indeed Ned Steinberger, for Stuart Spector in 1976.
 19.
What choice of heads are driving these cabs? Is it mainly GB and TC heads?
I've put an Ampeg SVT111 through it, a Sansamp pre with Peavey power amp through it and a GK800RB through it and ALL sounded monstrous!
 20. LOVE that Pedulla!!
 21. Genz Benz Neox212T all the way.... I've sent you a PM...
 22. Wouldn't be a GnR tribute would it?
 23.
i think pointy headstocks should be fashionable again
Agreed! Have a free BUMP!
