5. Stunning bass! So glad it's not a 4-string or I'd be having GAS overload...
 6.
Now I'm left with the choice of tracking one down on the 'bay or going for a cheapie Behringer model. Anyone got any experience of these? Folks turn their noses up at Behringer kit I've noticed, but their kit seems to have a good level of reliability on the road...
Dont.... just DON'T....
 7. Bumping for our gigs THIS weekend: April 15th Stourbridge 'River Rooms' 16th Ipswich 'Manor Ballroom'
 8. An oddity with this amp is also that the drive control is on FULL when at the lowest (7 o'clock) position and OFF when at the highest (5 o'clock) position!
 9.
Ooh that Bergatino cab does look like a good solution. Do they come up used much? Jack
Sadly, hardly ever...
 10.
Get a Berg NV610
^ this....
 11.
The SVT3PRO needs to have the Master on full and the Gain balancing your volume. If you have the EQ section switched on (I didn't bother with this) then the volume fader will affect your overall volume. There is a 15 db cut button. Don't push this in or you will loose a lot of volume.
^ This..... The SVTIIIPro has no lack of power if used correctly...
 12.
This may sound somewhat 'blasphemous' but if you like the idea/look/feel of a Streamer then i'd definitely check out the 'original' version - a Spector I've owned a few of these & much preferred them to my old Streamer.
+1
 13.
... In fact, Stuart Spector designed it....

Er, wasn't it Ned Steinberger?
It was indeed Ned Steinberger, for Stuart Spector in 1976.
 14.
What choice of heads are driving these cabs? Is it mainly GB and TC heads?
I've put an Ampeg SVT111 through it, a Sansamp pre with Peavey power amp through it and a GK800RB through it and ALL sounded monstrous!
 15. LOVE that Pedulla!!
 16. Genz Benz Neox212T all the way.... I've sent you a PM...
 17. Wouldn't be a GnR tribute would it?
 18.
i think pointy headstocks should be fashionable again
Agreed! Have a free BUMP!
 19. Wow! Thanks for that nonsense about a brand that is charging over the odds for something of poor quality... Now where's the bread for that SPAM sandwich...?
 20.
Yeah but then you're probably the only BC'er another would recognise without needing a previous introduction or a second glance . Unless someone mistakenly turns up at a real kiss gig and starts talking gear. Man that could be embarrassing
Lol! Yep, especially when Gene's eyes glaze over and he starts chatting up your lady instead....
 21.
there's always the uber-cool BassChat T-shirts, of which I am a proud owner
Nah, that looks sh*te over my 'Gene Simmons' outfit....
 22.
It's a ferking great big dent whether you like it or not. If undamaged , comparable instruments go for less than you're asking for a damaged one then it's not unrealistic to use that as a bargaining tool. If you don't like it, just don't respond.
But surely getting a response keeps the lines of communication open...? Aren't we asking for people to be more communicative on here so as to avoid people thinking they have got a potential buyer when in fact they haven't? Your answer appears to fly in the face of good manners/trading etiquette
 23.
On the other hand, the people coming to your gigs are your customers and are ultimately paying your wages, and might reasonably expect a polite reply to the first three questions above (the last two are pushing it a bit). If you want people to come to your gigs, or want them to buy your bit of kit, then you need to make it easy for them. Not aimed specifically at you Cetera, just that your post triggered the thought.
No offence taken, I'm just airing the frustration that 20 years of dealing with the same questions has bred... We actually reply by pointing them towards said websites so that they may continue to use them in future, thereby obtaining the information they require WHEN they require it... and not continually wasting our time... Seems to work for the repeat offenders...
 24.
hello this my bass that i have for sale its a custom shop bass and i have not seen anyother bass like this if you like becouse you might have to trivel i will sell it to you for £1100 tell me what you think http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SANDBERG-PM5-Custom-...=item43a6457b14
I think the OP has probably made his choice in the last 3 years and that you shouldn't post e-Bay links to your item in this forum...
