3.
Just bee-yootiful. And a very fair finance deal too Can say from experience that cetera's a top guy to deal with, and really knows / looks after his bass gear
Thanks Shaggy! I appreciate your kind words
4. Thanks chaps! Yes Nik, this is the one you played at Walfest! Now, I've had a fair few people make contact about this bass already, but obviously with an instrument of this value (and the tough current financial climate) people are finding it hard to be the first to get the full amount together.... *finance arrangements deleted now SOLD* Hope that helps?! Please see my extensive feedback (link below) for assurances of my honesty and trading/selling reputation on these boards.
5. Have a free bump for a cool looking bass!
6. Crikey! Bargains! Not for me at the moment though...
7. I'll take it! PM'd...
8. She's a beauty Andy! Those cracks aren't a problem...
9. Have a free bump for a gorgeous and 'different' Fender!
10.
dead ringer>>>>>>>>>> (yes I is like well lucky innit!)
Nice! But I'd prefer a younger model or £2800 please
11.
Amazingly beautiful bass. This will go fast I recon, if not, can I swap my wife?
Is she fit?
12.
Well i love the tone from the spectors. I have tried a Spector rebop and love the sound of it, thats why i'm asking about the spector performer, i dont have any idea if the sound is near the sound of a rebop...
It's similar but not quite the same. Why don't you keep your eyes open for a 'used' Rebop?
13. Sadly I need to part with my beautiful Nov 1983 Wal Mk1 Custom (W2205) from the original/classic Ian Waller & Pete Stevens era. The bass has a Mahogany core with Wenge facings, Indian Rosewood fingerboard with inlaid m.o.p. dot markers, Schaller machineheads and black/chrome custom Wal bridge. The neck is 34" scale/21 frets and of a six-piece laminate construction of Rock Maple, Hornbeam and Amazonian Hardwood. Electronics are the standard x2 Wal pickups with Volume, Blend and two parametric EQ Tone Control pots. There is extra 'pick attack' with the pull up Volume pot and extra focus on selected frequencies with the two pull up Tone pots. The bass also has ¼" and an integrated XLR balanced output, which allows for direct connection to a desk or other balanced input. It is currently strung with 45 - 105 strings. As we all know, Wal basses are hand made, beautifully constructed and individually unique instruments and this particular bass is surely one of the best. Indeed, when I had this fully serviced by Pete about 3 or 4 years ago, he told me that it was one of the finest examples he’d ever seen of this model. Condition is 'excellent' with just a few very light dings/surface scratches - to be expected from an almost 28 year old instrument. I have barely used it outside the house since owning it and a case will be included. The weight (according to my bathroom scales) is approx 8 lbs... I'm very sad to move it on but, as the owner of an incredibly rare 'Geddy Lee' Mk1 and a beautiful fretless Mk1 as well, I feel it is time to offer this classic up to someone else to enjoy to the max! So, without much more ado.... here she is: Now, to the price: I'm looking for *SOLD* cash, cheque or bank transfer/IBAN. No Paypal or trades, thanks. Pickup is preferred (from Central London or Guildford/Surrey) but I WILL meet within a reasonable distance for petrol money. I WILL ship within the UK or Internationally but obviously, with a bass of this value, all shipping/insurance costs and any import taxes must be met by the buyer. Please see my superb feedback (link in sig below) for assurances of a clean/honest transaction.
14. That is gorgeous! Congrats!
15.
Then you have to stick to Foreplay/Longtime
*Guffaws*.... and wonders how many people will 'get' that
16. Feck it off and find something else....
17. This: Spector NS2A Far superior to the, admittedly very good, Spector Performer..... and will hold it's value should you wish to move it on in the future....
18. When I fancy just playing along to an album I often pick their Greatest Hits.... some fun and tricky basslines to enjoy
19. BUMPING for this weekend's gigs! Mar 4th Lanark 'Agricultural Centre' 5th Blackburn 'King Georges Hall' Lanark ticket sales are already up near the 350 mark!! Blackburn is a new one for us so we could really do with any/all support at this!
20. Looks nowt like a Fernandes to me...
21. BUMP with price drop!
22. Jimmy is a great bassist with a VERY varied recording career.... I've also got stuff by him with a band called Blackjack in the late 70's (with a young Michael Bolton on vocals and Bruce Kulick of KISS on gtr) and he even played bass on a track or two on KISS' "Creatures Of The Night" album in 1982...
23. Great bassist Nice bloke - I've met him a few times Entertaining to chat with/listen to Fun book What's not to appreciate? And yes, he has posted on here before...
24. Robbo and his Warlocks are a lovely bunch of guys who are really supporting live music. They will look after you AND your gear and you will have a great time. Money depends on your pulling power andhow many times you've been in/proven yourself...
