1. I had this problem many years back... and ended up selling my amp. Here's some advice from my experience... 1) Never use it with an 8ohm cab. Make sure it always sees at least 4ohms! 2) Have a word with a good tech about disabling/reducing the sensitivity of the 'protection circuitry'. It's MUCH too sensitive and shuts down the amp at the slightest thing... Hope this helps!
2. Peter Cetera (Chicago) - melodic and forthright basslines & all while singing superbly! Tiran Porter (Doobie Brothers) - master of groove, melody and knowing what's 'just right' for a song Gene Simmons (KISS) - showed me how to play well constructed rock basslines while putting yourself 'forward' on stage Others just outside the top 3 would have to include Phil Lynott, John Deacon , Dee Murray & Rutger Gunnarsson... ...and of course they all link back to McCartney/Jamerson
3. My 2 80's ESP 'Masayoshi Yamashita' basses.... The black one is active & EMG loaded, the white/cream one is passive....
4. Wow! That's a GORGEOUS build! Congrats!

9. This..... one of my fave songs by my fave band. This live version gives me goosebumps when it 'kicks in to overdrive' at around 2.50....

11.
Personally, I'd drop the ... with Jools Holland, hook in Mark Radcliffe and Jo Whiley to go with Jools and put the show on all year round with each of the three hosting alternate months.
Jo Whiley ?!?!? Please no!! I couldn't stand her gushing love for EVERY act and fake enthusiasm that every song/band is the best she's ever heard....
12. VERY nice!!

16. You do know this is only £299 new online don't you
17. Snore.... SPAM....snore.....
18. I've got a Jazz Bass Special. It's the black neck, non-active (i.e. non-PowerJazz) version. Has a very grindy, punchy & full bass tone - think Duff McKagan (Guns n Roses/Velvet Revolver) and is very comfortable to play...
19. Nice work mate! Personally I LOVE his playing on this classic version....
