6.
To anyone reading though - these instruments are absolutely incredible. Competing (and winning half the time) with my American MTD. They are just so so good, especially with a set of 45-105s on em. £899 is a steal. And to you again, Cetera, you really have created a monster here. ... I thank you
Ash - You're welcome! Have a free bump for a superb bass!
  7.
 ...cannot...justify... DAMN YOU CETERA!
Heh heh heh!!

  9. As many low E bass slides as necessary until my brain re-engages.... works every time!
  10.
Just about to order a tree of life. Custom order for $30. They got back to me by email immediately, bodes well for their customer service.
Their customer service is EXCELLENT. I received mine within days & because I bought 3 sets he chucked in a free extra set free!
  11.
Fair enough! Actually I meant that some of them didn't look like they were put on straight (not cut wonky) - which is up to the 'user', but still potential to look naff.
Ah, I see Yep, you have to take a little time to line them up from all angles..... otherwise they will look wrong!
  12.
Pretty much what I was thinking. I bet they feel yuk to play over, and some of them don't look straight to me on the pix, which looks uber cheap! Pass ...
Actually, I have some of these and they are unnoticeable to play over. They are also neat, well cut and straight....
  13.
What are the Axe basses like to play? I mean in terms of weight and balance?
Weight is reasonable on both... though balance on the Kramer one is a little neck heavy.... Both sound great though!
  14.
Haha, my second Euro arrived today!
Need pictures or we don't believe you!

    Spectorcore

Never tried one, but this model has an excellent reputation. Apparently it can produce some really trad double bass type tones (thanks to the soundholes) as well as more modern fretless tones.... You can't go wrong with the build quality either so methinks you scored a winner!
  18. Stick with the ReBop and take time getting used to the neck. If anything, trying to find the 'speed' on it will only improve your technique
  19. Sorry Rhys, the Hamer Impact is a VERY rare model & it took me years to find one at a good price. It won't be leaving me anytime soon Yep, big props here too for the original 70's Ibanez PS10. A superb guitar, better build & sound than any Les Paul IMHO!
  20. That's one in my GAS list...
  21.
That sunburst one is my dream spector! Got my first Spector from Cetera and it's absolutely incredible (bought his Euro LX zebrano), trumped my MTD at the moment, it's just amazing. I love these basses. Will post photos tomorrow night because hopefully by then I'll have another Euro in the house!
You'll never steal my Spector crown!! You hear me?!?! Never!!!! Bwa ha ha ha ha!!!!
  22. That sounds like a Legend5 from 2004-2006. See here: Spector model history
  23. Congrats! I'm glad someone bought that bass..... great bass & a great price
  24. Lol! If I beat you to it.... just remember that you'll always have the bigger/better 'fence'!
