1. Due to a late booking I may not be able to make this now.... I'm leaving myself on the list but will play it by ear on the day. May just make it for the latter part of the afternoon...
 2.
ha ha Ok I'll see if I can come down and laff at the clothes
Why? What will YOU be wearing?!?
 3. A few weeks ago at our gig in Stourbridge there was one p*ssed tw*t who kept falling into the people around him, shouting out ridiculous & incomprehensible heckles and generally being a nonce. After the show I went into the audience (still in full 'Gene Simmons' KISS gear...) to chat to some friends and he fell into me..... bad move... lol! So, I lifted him off his feet by his throat and pinned him roughly (choking) to the wall while giving him an earful of my thoughts on his behaviour! That must have looked hilarious for those around me.... a 6ft 3 bloke in 7" high monster headed boots, lycra, studs and make-up pinning a drunked half way up the wall by my studded fist! Still, he won't do that again.... and I doubt we'll see him again either!!
 4.
The Rudy Sarzo is also on my list
I have one of those.... Don't really want/need to sell, but for the right offer I could be persuaded... Back on topic.... both of these are lovely basses! The Quad in particular... +1 on the quality of Peaveys from this era. My Rudy Sarzo & Randy jackson sig models are both superb!
 5. Hey Jono! I was hoping you made it & was looking forward to saying Hi! Sorry you had to leave early but completely understand Thanks so much for coming along... and for the glowing endorsement.
 6. Ah, if you were closer....
 7.
Dressed to Kill?
Aye!
 8.
Yeah he's hoping the appeal will take long enough to save up to do the extra work. What date are you here? OG
Fri 20th November... hopefully!
 9.
which is..
Read his 'edit 2'...
 10.
They did as much as they could at the time, as much as the planning dept asked and for what investment dosh they had. Seems it wasn't enough.
Same as the situation at The Point... We're scheduled to play The Globe in November. Fingers crossed it goes ahead.... Alan at the venue said gigs would continue throughout the appeal and (if they lose the appeal) when he takes it to the Crown Court....
 11. Just relieved Andy of his Bass Pod XT... and very nice it is too. Cheers Andy for being so patient! Thoroughly recommended as a seriously nice and helpful gent!
 12. Cheers Nathan & thanks for the quick delivery
 13. Had a wonderful time at the new Gasworks in Bradford & at Legends in Newcastle this past weekend! Great venues/crowds and plenty of laughs So, now bumping for this coming weekend's gigs.... Fri 2 Oct 2009 Yardbirds, Grimsby Sat 3 Oct 2009 The Diamond, Sutton-In-Ashfield We will also, in conjunction with Roadrunner records, have lots of freebie promo posters/flyers for the new KISS album 'Sonic Boom' (due Oct 5th) available at both of these gigs.... and hopefully a full playback of the new album over the PA before we hit the stage!
 14. Just bought some EMGs from Nathan.... Great pickups, good communication & a clean transaction. Thanks mate!
 15. That's a beauty! There's nothing quite like a white Spector!
 16. Both are great... and most of the differences have been outlined above. The NS is a stunner but not worth twice the money.... and I personally believe that the original pre-Kramer ones are even nicer! When it comes to value for money/best bang for the buck then the Euro wins every time.... however, if you've got a large wad available then an NS wins out just because it can! lol!
 17.
Its cheese: the voice of corporate America. Has nothing whatsoever to do with the creative energy behind rock as an expressive art form and has everything to do with the tin pan alley, 'line 'em up and pick em off', 'tell me what you want and how much you can pay' method of songwriting. The eighties was full of this watered down stuff, the rock equivalent of ready meals. High on sugar content and short on nutritional value. Me no like.
You're right, it's GREAT!
 18.
Cough cough!
That outro solo is one of THE greatest guitar solos ever IMHO
 19.
When are you back in that London? MacWifey missed out last time, and I've a couple more mates who will be up for it - if the Victoria line is running
Sat 6th March 2010 mate.... We were due to play in December but my wife & I have a baby due then!
 20.
Keep me updated on the Manchester gig I think I'd like to see this, do you do requests? I really want to hear Strutter and Lovegun
No need for requests.... Love Gun will definitely be in there... Strutter - maybe...
 21.
The good news is you're even closer to the Kashmir - look right out of the main door and you'll see it!!! The pub at the end of the street is where I got nabbed for being the Yorkshire ripper. I wasn't even old enough to have a beard then!!
Crikey!!
 22. Ah, but this is the NEW Gasworks! The one you described sounds like the old one...Do a google search for it.... bigger venue/bigger stage!
 23.
I'm hoping to get along to the Gasworks. Don't know if you've been before - the dressing room's a bit naff but it's stocked with bottles of Carlsberg. Sadly the only bottle opener that was there is in my gig box!!! It's the daddy of bassy sounding stages too.
Excellent news Dr!! So, you suggest a bit more 'mid' and less 'bass' on the Ampeg head /Boogie 2x15 then Sir?!
 24. Hey Jono! She'll be happy because we will almost definitely play both of those No worries for you though as there will be plenty of 70's classics, some deep cuts and very likely the new KISS song 'Modern Day Delilah'!
 25. Slightly concerned that you own a 'Katie Price' book mate...!
