2. Yorick, where are you?! You NEED this Nige!
3. Bought my BDDI. A clean, fast and pleasant transaction. Thanks!
4. No worries mate! Bumping a mint, as new, boxed (tinned!) and stunning sounding pedal (whether in front of your rig or into the desk!) Instant SVT, B15 or Tool-type overdrive all built in
5. Thanks chap - better late than never!
6. Recently acquired this, but have no real need for it at the moment. Absolutely 'Mint' and as new as the day I received it (still in tin). *SOLD*
7.

That's just GOTTA sound nice.... Spector into Matamp into Berg....
8. Thanks Ash, twas a pleasure
9.
Thanks all. I think what I will do is buy it, play it for a bit, then decide which I prefer - the p-bass or the Scavenger. If it is the Scavenger that goes, Cetera, I'll let you know.
Sounds fair enough. Cheers mate.... keep me updated (on PM may be better).
10.

Wow.... you really remind me of this classic 'Gerry Anderson' character! Hood No offence meant!
11. Just met with Ash to hand over my prized Spector. Lovely bloke, came through on his commitment to buy and met me at the earliest opportunity. A thoroughly pleasant transaction and Ash comes highly recommended as someone to deal with.
12. Good basses but slightly limited. You may be better with the P to be honest. As an aside, if you don't get the Scavenger let me know as I know a definite buyer....
13.
There is nothing hi-fi about my Genz ShuttleMax6, lovely warm growl with my P Bass. Get 10 bass players playing through one amp and I think you will get 10 different sounds.
Have to agree.... when I heard the lovely warm growl my friend got from his Shuttle 6 I was blown away...
14. Hello mate, I could take this off you for £40 and come collect Let me know! Gary
15. Yep, Jerry Scheff. His son Jason Scheff (currently with Chicago) is no slouch either!
16.
What did anyone make of the Forte stuff?
I'll be after a Forte Thunderbird-shape Spector when they hit the stores!
17. *SOLD*
18.
Any kind of Warwick Streamer - I just love the body shape.
That'll be the classic 'Spector' shape then For me... it's a white Spector NS-2 all the way!!
19.
I do love the sound of Bruce Foxton's/Geddy Lee's playing, but of course they quite often played a Jazz (Geddy is the god of the Jazz IMHO), and that's the sound I strive for so I do think I'm Fender through & through.
It may be worth thinking about getting a Sansamp VTBass pedal as well as a Jazz in order to nail that tone....
20. I love my Sonic Maximiser but I find it works best when there's lots of other things in the chain. It puts back a lot of the tone that rack gear etc sucks out....
21.
I think this is an Italian-made Melody copy (M logo on the headstock) - someone on here had one a year or so ago, I expect a bit of searching might turn up some info. Never seen a Melody in real life, but I had a no-brand Japanese one a while back - it was a ringer for the real deal & I probably should've kept it. Jon.
Yep, it looks exactly like my one I sold..... I'm sure it was to someone in the Sunderland area too. Nice 'basic' bass but the sliding pickup was a bit noisy/microphonic.
22. BUMP with price reduction!
23.
Actually bought the Wal for $150US then paid about $500 for repairs.
US$150?!?!!!!! Wow!!
24. SOLD subject to the usual!
25. BUMPing for a couple of potential buyers
