1.
Hello everyone Well, I've decided to withdraw this bass. I just can't bring myself to sell it, even though I rarely play it. Apologies to all those who have expressed an interest. Best wishes Gareth
Phew!! Thank feck for that! Good decision Gareth
2. I'm pretty much GAS-free (well I will be in a few weeks time when a VERY special bass arrives)..... BUT.... I'd still like the following at some point: Spector Forte-X (New Spectorbird model) Hamer Impact (early 90's model - in black &/or white) Fender 'Geddy Lee' in Sunburst Fender 'Steve Harris' Precision Fender 'Aerodyne' Jazz (non-scratchplate version) Jackson 'Thunderbird' (early 90's model)
3. Hi Noel, Beautiful bass you have there! Unfortunately, due to the quality/availability/price-point of the 'Euro' series the US series seems to have taken a hammering s/h value-wise in recent years..... Is your bass worth £3500..... definitely. Would you get more than £2000 - £2500 for it? Sadly it's unlikely in the current market.... Sorry....!
4.
Night Boat To Cairo. There's one little bit in it that really gives me grief. Again, I know how to play it forwards & backwards. It's easy, look. Do-do-do-do. See? But when it gets to that bit in a gig...
I think I suffer in the same bit!
5. 'Yorick', where out thou?! You NEED this!
6. Sold my guitar rack to John. Lovely bloke, turned up on time and a pleasure to deal with. Cheers!
7.
Picked up my Shuker on Sunday and the SWR rig on Tueseday right before a jam. To go from an OLP and 1x12 combo to this was a HUUUUGELY enjoyable experience!
And hugely EXPENSIVE I imagine! lol! Congrats!
8. Gorgeous! Have a free BUMP!
9. Jono & Arsenic... Wow....!!  Thank you SO much.... 12.
Hi All Due to some unforeseen circumstances I'm selling my two Spector Euros. Both are fitted with John East U-Retro preamps and both come with full aluminium/ply heavy duty flight cases.
Crikey Sean! I trust everything's OK?!? Have a free bump for a beautiful bass....
13. I'd like it to go with my other one for a lightweight 2ohm monster rig! Unfortunately money is going elsewhere at the moment...
14. That's a beaut! Congrats
15. Have a bump for a gorgeous bass. My first decent bass was a CSB360 in wine red.... and I still miss it to this day!
16.
Can you get a price on shipping for it please. Cheers
I'd really rather not ship it as it will be very hard to box up (long poles etc) and finding a suitable box to use will be a pain..... Maybe you know someone coming down this way who could pick it up if you're interested?
17. After a GREAT night at Camberley....BUMPING for our gigs next weekend: February 5th Bilston 'Robin RnB' 6th Sheffield 'Boardwalk'
18. Right, just went and measured it up (in its disassembled state - as I've never got around to putting it up!) Width would be approx: 5ft 4" Height would be approx: 5ft Depth at base would be approx: 2ft 2"
19. I'll try to check over the next few days....
20. You will UNDOUBTEDLY hear at least one of those two on the night mate

Spector Rex
I've spotted a nice five string Spector Rex on the 'bay. Anybody owned one of these who'd be prepared to comment on the good/bad/ugly points? Anybody know what the balance is like, are they any better than a Thunderbird when it comes to neck dive? Comments will be appreciated.
I have a Spector REX4 and it's gorgeous..... great tight tones, ergonomically pretty comfortable and not so bad on neck dive. Only real improvement I'd make is to increase the power/oomph of the pickups by replacing them with full EMGs rather than the current EMG-Hz's....
23. Beautiful Spector! Have a free bump
24. I have a 'display' guitar rack (I believe made by Dixon) which holds 9+ guitars & looks very similar to this.... I can't find an 'actual' picture of mine but you get the idea! It's like the ones you see at Music Trade Shows that have the latest model guitars/basses displayed on them.... It's in an unassembled state at the moment in storage so no actual pictures. Dimensions are approx: Width 5ft 4" Height 5ft Depth at base 2ft 2" These are very hard to get hold of outside of commercial/trade circles & can cost up to £300 but this one can be yours for *SOLD SUBJECT TO THE USUAL* Pickup from Surrey is infinitely preferable as shipping would be expensive, unwieldy and would be at buyers cost...
