1. I'm with you all the way.....! I've seen Journey a few times over the last 5 years and they are officially 'better than ever'! Consumate musicians, amazing vocals and a back catalogue to die for..... just perfection!
2. This cab used to be mine..... superb cab and highly recommended. Bump for JMesa!
3. Bumping a fantastic bass! I have a couple of Peavey 'Randy Jackson' basses (VERY similar) and the build quality, tonal choices and feel are superb Good luck with your sale. This is a bargain!
4. B*ll*x..... I'm gigging on both of those dates....
5.
well maybe im turning over a new leaf iv also took to pm'ing people with advice about sales too, dunno whats got into me
I'm sure people will REALLY appreciate you PMing them your advice..... This sounds like a great bass and is worth what someone will pay for it.... and that may well be £750. Good luck to the seller, sounds like a lovely piece....
6.
We all Know Spectors are the original & best !!! Big W just a poor imitation......
+1
7. This is a SUPERB cab.... and if I had the spare cash I wouldn't mind getting another just for the hell of it!
8. Lovely bass! I have a stained maple faced Wal Custom fretless 4 too..... they're gorgeous basses!
9. The Genz Benz NEOX212T is FINE as a standalone cab.... 600W ' 4ohms, lightweight and a full range sound. Check the reviews on Harmony Central and threads on Talkbass, then chat to Mark at Bass Direct. If that doesn't convince you I don't know what will....
10. BUMP for a great bass at an AMAZING price!!
11. Cheers for the replies chaps..... very helpful! Anyone else before I jump in....
12.
Arbiter do not distribute Fender in the UK anymore - haven't done for quite a few years now.... (in fact, they don't appear to distribute much of note at all these days IMO).
Apart from REMO, Spector etc.... Best bet is to get along to one of the new six Reverb stores, try out a Spector ReBop and take advantage of their special introductory 20% off! Spector ReBops have a great and well deserved reputation for being lightweight, well made, powerful and punchy! You may find a little neckdive, but nothing that can't be countered with a decent strap....
13. This is a weird one..... I'm in Europe's #1 KISS tribute band.... and for authenticity reasons I'm interested in changing the colour of my EMG humbucker pickup on one of my 'Kiss tribute' basses from black to silver. Could I just colour the casing with a silver pen? Or spray it with silver paint? Would this affect the pickup? Would any metallic element in the pen/paint cause magnetic problems? Cheers for any help....
14. Sold tuners to Philip. Nice easy transaction. Recommended!
15. Any of these heads.... Tech21 Landmark Genz Benz Shuttle, GBE750 or GBE1200 Ampeg SVTII (Non Pro) Anything else (with a Sansamp Bass Driver in front of it.....)
16.
if i decide to go for another amp sim, i'll think i'll save up for a sansamp...and this time keep it clear of electric mistresses !
Good move.... it's worth spending a little more on the good stuff. Welcome to the world of 'sh*tty Behringers'....
17. More feedback here.... Another 'Cetera' feedback thread....
