1. Oooo.... some nice ones on there! I like the black Jazz......and the sunburst jazz with maple board & white blocks!
2.
alot of us do but our wallets/wives wont allow it.
Agreed (apart from the wife bit....).... I'd love this.... but have a new Spector on the way any day and I also want a white Jap Fender Jazz 75 reissue and a white Jap Fender P 62 reissue first.... Then I have to pay off the VISA card! And THEN I may be up for a Lakland Darryl Jones 4!
3.
I bought mine from ebay japan.
I didn't think Japan had eBay?! I though everyone there used Yahoo auctions?
4. Looking good..... it'll be impossible to find over here though....
5. She's a sweet girl, her band supported mine a couple years back. Her band put on a 'show' and they entertain..... and they BELIEVE in what they do. Can't say fairer that that....!
6. I really like Richard Jones of The Feeling.... He looks cool, plays some nicely crafted, melodic basslines.... and controls the stage with constant prowling and boundless energy....
7. I'm gonna have to make up my own one from spares now....
8. What wood is this? basswood? alder? and is it from a US, Jap or Mex P?
9.
Guys... I totally agree!! Something just doesnt look right does it? LOL LOL - Its kinda like looking at a Mini with a trailor from an articulated lorry strapped on the back! I was packing up the other night and laid my folder of paperwork down behind me. Then I couldnt find my amp!!! It took me a moment or so to twig that it was under the folder!!!!
superb!!
10. My current rigs..... Rig 1: Tech21 Landmark 600. This is a 2 channel (BDDI/RPM) amp where you can use them seperatley or combine for a monster tone! The cab is my Mesa/Boogie 1516BE which is for sale at the moment. See here.... http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...;hl=mesa+boogie EV loaded, 1x15, 1x10, 2x6, horn & two bass ports. Monstrous...!! Rig 2: Same head but with 400W 1x15 EV loaded Mesa Boogie. The 2x10 pictured is sold. Versatile, portable and LOUD! Rig 3: This is what I use with the KISS tribute band.... Samson wireless, Korg rack tuner, BBE Sonic Maximiser, Line 6 Bass Pod Pro and Ampeg SVTIII into a venue shaking 800W 2x15 EV loaded Mesa/Boogie Diesel cab. I LOVE standing in front of this!
11.
Which one's you?
I'm sure my wife will be most offended by that question! lol!
12. I found this....in case anyone's interested....? Gumtree 75RI
13.
A CIJ Geddy Lee Jazz - perfect for what you want I reckon.
+1 And you could always change the pickguard colour or upgrade any element of it if need be...
14. Here's me in my clobber in the KISS tribute band.... backstage with my lovely wife.
15. There's an obvious wrong note on the acoustic (?) guitar on Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells....
16. The NS230 is a beautiful bass, but at $15000 (£8000) it is more pricey then any bass I would ever purchase... Spector NS-230 If you want a good Spector just go for a Euro or, if you can afford it, a full on US NS2.
17.
I'd like to see a non valve version.
I'd like to see an ALL valve version....and/or a version that goes down to 2 ohms.
18. I personally have never got on with the more recent Warwicks as I've always found the necks to be too thick. I'd love to own an 80's/early 90's Streamer as they have a lovely vibe about them and feel/play/sound so much nicer to my ears.... I had a SUB until about a year ago and I really regret getting rid of it..... Ultimately thought it's personal choice, so do what's right for you
19. Ooooh! I like the look of the Shuttle 6.0 !
20.
I thnk the mtd’s are excelent 5 strings but a high end spector would provide more tone.
+1
