  1. I have: Two identical Kramer Spector NS2's in black Two identical Kramer Spector NS2A's in black Three identical Fernandes Spectorbirds in black Two Gallien-Kreuger 400RB amps Two Gallien-Krueger 800RB amps Why? Love them and all are rare as the proverbial rocking horse poop....
  2. I haven't, chap. Only posted it here for now.... Cheers!
  3. I too saw Mammoth/Crue & Leppard at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night. Mammoth were very impressive - some great songs and I will have to delve further into their small catalogue. Crue were Crue.... but better than expected! Vince's vocals were a lot better than in recent years but his terrible diction meant that I couldn't resist singing along with a cheeky "Keestar ma-har!" during 'Kickstart My Heart' Def Lep were class. Consummate musicians and performers with some great songs. Slick without being sterile and a very personable feel to them. A great night out!
  4. Thanks chaps. Seems somebody with very little previous engagement on this site feels the need to make unqualified comment on my personal need for, or reasons for wanting, another instrument. I can assure him that all my instruments are hard earned, bought and paid for. I am also willing to pay for materials and someone's time/experience. I just thought that it may be a fun project that someone here has the access to material and necessary skills for.... and would like to join me in. Maybe @JohnH89 might like to get to know the good people on this forum and contribute a little more, positively and in general, before making judgements and commenting here? "No disrespect intended...."
  5. Yep, it's all about the swishy haired Instagram girls these days. Engages the old men.... in the hope they'll buy the product. Marketing 101.... *NB: this is not a personal comment aimed at Cici. It is a 'general' comment on the clearly visible marketing approach of many companies at the moment.
  6. Saw Gwen Stefani (very good) and Pink (awesome - a revelation!) live at Hyde Park last weekend. Going to see Def Leppard, Motley Crue & Mammoth this Saturday at Wembley Stadium, then KISS next Wednesday at the O2 Arena, Billy Joel, Darryl Hall, Rumer etc at Hyde Park next Friday and The Hollywood Vampires with support from Seether & The Tubes(!!) next Sunday at the O2 Arena
  7. Normally 3 songs. One with our female lead vocal, one with our male lead vocal and then a 3rd with big backing vocal harmonies and both vocalists.
  8. Hercules. Can hang all my basses, including weird shaped ones on them. Sounds like you have the wrong model stand.
  9. My opinion on Elton and Blondie, having finally had a chance to watch their sets: Debbie Harry is, worryingly, starting to look like my old Nan (R.I.P).... and doesn't sing as well as her... Chris Stein's guitar stylings are sorely missed.... and temp bassist Glen Matlock lacks the required 'groove' while disappointingly simplifying the classic basslines on Rapture, Atomic etc. Leigh Foxx please get well soon. The songs need you! Clem Burke.... pure quality as always. A monster drummer and still the best thing about the band... Elton John.... Wow!! What can I say?!?! An absolute masterclass in songwriting & performance! Emotional, stirring, celebratory and uplifting in equal measure. His band are stunning & I particularly enjoyed Matt Bissonette's bass playing, honouring the beautiful, melodic basslines of the late, great Dee Murray while making them his own. How lucky we are to live in a time where so much amazing music has been made and performed....
  10. I have a neck that I'd like someone to build a bound 'Ricky' body for. I can then supply pickups/hardware etc and it can all be assembled... May be a fun project for someone who knows what they're doing? PM me, if interested....
  11. Jeff Lynne's ELO Pink The Doobie Brothers Earth, Wind & Fire Kate Bush - but she'd have to do some old classic hits
  12. Warwick??! Nancy Johnson?!? Ahem.... surely you mean Spector!! 😲
  13. Duff is still super solid on the bass though. Nice to have a mix where you can hear the bass clearly too...
  14. How low have you set that bar? Not like he had/has or needs any wide vocal range...
  15. Billy Idol staring at his lyrics monitor... Punk's not dead. Why learn the words when you can just read them?!? Yeah! Anarchy!! 🙄🤣😂🤣
  16. Loving this band at the moment.... like the best Steely Dan, mixed with classic NY jazz and a pop sensibility. Hugely recommend their last 3 albums and this track is sublime in its relaxing feel, atmosphere and evocativeness... Enjoy
  17. Have a great time.... Looks like my idea of hell though (camping.... with....people....) I've done it once, but I had private backstage camping and showers/food as I was stage crew on the Acoustic Stage. That's the ONLY way I'd go....
  18. As someone who's been there and done that a couple of times (tripping over pyro pods on very dark stages back in my KISS tribute days) it's a LONG, painful way down!!
  19. Gutted you're having to let this go mate.... The Euro factory surpassed itself in the quality of woods used on this one. Who knew our Ultraviolet basses would turn out so beautiful?!! Good luck with the sale.... and to any potential buyers- this as a custom run, in single figures and it is doubtful whether they will do this again. Grab yourself a beautiful bass while you can...
  20. Saw him a few weeks back at the O2 in London. Fantastic performance and so many great songs. Yes, very poignant and emotional....
  21. 1) Input jack intermittent 2) Strap pin worked loose from body
  22. Yep, that was crazy cheap! You're welcome re: the bash..... that's what it's all about You've also discovered the secret elixir..... Spector & GK.... I bang on about that combination to all who'll listen... lol! 💜
