    Toto at Wembley Arena last night gave a masterclass in songwriting, melody, musicianship, vocals & live performance! Best I've seen them.....! 🎶🎸😎 Nice to see Christopher Cross in support too. You can't go wrong with Sailing, Ride Like The Wind & Arthur's Theme.... I have to say, I felt extremely privileged to experience a concert of such quality. 👍😎

    i'm very jealous! 73-75 is my fave era of them! They've just announced their UK tour. Are you gonna go see them? They're still one of the best live acts out there... You can follow our new show on Facebook etc. Would be lovely to see you when we finally get start playing live!

    We filmed the promo video for our amazing new Doobie Brothers theatre tribute show 'The Doobie Experience' yesterday on the big live stage at KKs Steel Mill, Wolverhampton. It was wonderful to play with so many fantastic singers & musicians and hear ourselves at volume. It's a big band - 9 of us, including 3 piece brass section and percussionist..... lot of harmony vocals and killer grooves/riffs. Bucket list type band/line-up for me.... 💜 Broke out my 'RonnieBarker' Ricky copy and my 1976 Spector SB1 (closest visually I own to a very early Alembic Series I bass) for some kind of authenticity....

    ELO AND Doobie Brothers - two of my faves right there! Good job I already had a ticket...... Even better I'm probably working it backstage during the day and watching from out front by the time the Doobs hit the stage 💜

    Another dep gig with the Lee Aaron Band last night, this time in Bracknell. First time out with the LFSys demo Monaco cab which performed admirably with my Spector/GK combination. Tight, focused tone and sounded great! Great audience, up and dancing & singing from the off.... great fun 😎👍

    I think that's just poorly worded. If you have active EMG PJ or soapbars you don't need to change them. If you have Hz pickups or the old Spector pickups (in the NS2A) then you would want to upgrade to full active EMG versions. Tbh, there's no harm in swapping your non-adjustable TP out to either an undjustable version, an EMG BTS or go the whole hog and get a LHZ-03/04 pre. The pedal is useful for non LHZ basses so it will still get used and it makes P basses etc sound awesome! I have many Spectors with various preamps (Hazlab, EMG, Aguilar, Tonepump AND Darkglass). I use the pedal to give the non-Haz ones a more similar Haz tone across the board....

    I hardly ever gig in January. Got 16 gigs booked so far before summer though, with more to come in, so that's pretty good...

    On a Tonepump I'd roll the adjustment wheel back to approx 40%. On the front control knobs, you'll find that with bass at approx 15% and treble at approx 40% it will be around 'flat'. The pedal should then get the optimum flat signal to add the Haz goodness to. The non-adjustable TP should have the front control knobs set the same, but you will find the bass much louder/more distorted so I'd swap that pre out completely if I were you, unless you want to run your volume lower on the bass.

    Here, for sale, is a unique Japanese made Charvel Fusion IV bass from 1989. These Japanese made 80's Charvels were so good that people stopped buying the USA made ones as these were much cheaper. The bass was originally white but the previous owner refinished it in this amazing camo design and did a fantastic, clean job... as you can see, it's a stunner! PIckups are Jackson's own EMG copies and it has an active 2 band eq, Rosewood fretboard and removeable sharkfin inlay stickers. I'm only selling as it's not suitable for my current projects so someone will get a bargain. £450 £399 SENSIBLE offers will be entertained. Just need to move this on to make space now, but no silly lowball offers. Keep it sensible. Payment in cash, Paypal (you pay fees) or bank transfer. Please see my very extensive positive feedback thread for assurance of a clean, honest transaction. Collection preferred from Camberley/Sandhurst area or I can meet within 30 miles for petrol cost.
