I was thrilled to finally see my fave bassist/singer Peter Cetera (ex-Chicago) last night at the Barbican in London! Front row centre seats AND I met him after! It doesn't get better than that....!!! 74 years old and still has his amazing tenor voice intact...... and he played a fantastic set list of classic Chicago and his solo hits. Textbook!!!

I have seen him in a Beefeater by the A3 near Richmond Park. Seriously..... no word of a lie....

Jeff Lynne's ELO at London O2 Arena last night! Wonderful songs, fantastic musicians and vocals, stunning light show and an atmosphere of smiley, happy people singing along..... oh, and my 'young at heart' Mum by my side enjoying very minute. Precious moments for sure :)

My band tell me that my Spectors sound fabulous..... Now, if I was to believe it's all in the fingers then it's ME who sounds fabulous! Happy days!! 😎😁🏆 I'd say it's more 50/50 though. Me playing an e.g. SG bass wouldn't sound as good in our band context.

Mine too..... and add some hair on the top of my head! lol!

I think everyone has their own holy grail, a bass they arrived at through influences, fave tones, feel, looks, value for money, ability to fit most/all musical situations...... endless other reasons etc...... but mainly that just feels 'right' and almost an extension of their musical self. Mine is the Spector NS2. YMMV.....
