BGO reissue of the first three 'Lake' albums on CD..... just fantastic stuff if you like early Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan, etc..... LOVE it! Also, the latest 'Kayak' album - titled 'Seventeen'. A wonderful pomp/prog release in the style of Alan Parsons Project, 'Camel etc. Great stuff

Love mine. Never without it...... and whether it actually does or not do this - it seems to add oooomph, depth and sparkle when used carefully. And that... is good enough for me :)

3 days since I bought anything gear related - an old Pearl Octaver pedal! Got two things on my radar though, both Spector related, and at least one of which I could pull the trigger on early next week.... Best thing I've bought recently and won't move on - the Tech21 Dug Pinnick DP-3X preamp/pedal. Awesome!

No. Fernandes are an established Japanese make of some 40+ years, well known for their copies of classic instruments as well as their own designs. They also build under the Burny moniker among others....

I've said it before and I'll say it again...... best value (at each price point), build quality, feel, sound and customer service you'll find. Looks sexy and you get to put numbskulls in their place when they ask "Is that a Warwick?"

Epi Vintage Pro. Price point, quality, tone, weight - all just right. It's a no-brainer for dipping your toes in and may be the only one you ever need...

Another thing worth considering.... Remember that you are auditioning them as much as they are auditioning you. That doesn't mean be egotistical.... rather, do they sound good to you, do they gel well and are you feeling that 'link' that makes you want to be part of their band? I've lost count of the number of bands I've auditioned for but ended up not wanting to part of.... either due to musical, social or practical reasons.... They have to be worth YOUR time as much as you are (hopefully) worth THEIRS.

No it isn't. Being endorsed is very different to being honoured with a custom signature model of your very own. Very few artists get a sig model, but many artists can be endorsed.

Positive. Their endorsements are cost price. Only a couple of 'sig model' artists get a limited number of complimentary instruments.

Their endorsees get them for free and are actively pursued and given free basses to raise their brand profile. Certain other top brands e.g. Spector - don't give basses for free. Even their endorsees pay cost + VAT. When you see someone endorses their basses you KNOW they love and WANT to use them, no strings attached.

Not for me. Decent London tickets start at £78 + fees. If I hadn't seen them in 10 years, maybe.... but I saw them for less than that last year with the fantastic Doobie Brothers.
