If you want a vintage looking Thunderbird then generally you buy a vintage looking Thunderbird or a copy (lull etc) that looks like one. If you don't.... then you don't.... This bass sounds great but ticks no boxes for me..... I'd rather see a modern version (looks, design, circuity) or a traditional copy. Just my opinion...

Great song, fine bass line and great writer/producer/bassist in Alan Tarney. Loved his mid-period songwriting/producing/bass work with Cliff Richard - melodic rock/AOR in all but name

A fantastic day - so many great people and instruments/gear. I've always said that bassists are the greatest musicians to be around - No airs and graces - just nice people and this was proven tenfold on Saturday!
