  1. That’s usually the case, thought the PRO II series isn’t that old, maybe they’re going to go back to US Standard?
  2. Well Keanu did give them some outrageous specs to follow……
  3. Yep, to me the JMJs are incredibly well done, really look like genuine wear - in fact all of my bandmates in both bands thought I’d bought a really old vintage instrument the first time I took it to rehearsal.
  4. Just watching the news, Swiss scientists have developed sugarless chocolate. Equates to me being one happy bunny.
  5. Was pretty much the same for me when The Sex Pistols reformed in ‘96. I wasn’t old enough to see them first time round so all I cared about was finally being able to see my fave band, selling out, not being able to play, foul mouthed, none of it concerned me.
  6. I still think the worst relic job I`ve seen is the Fender Joe Strummer Tele, it doesn`t look "worn" at all to me, looks more like the wear has been painted over the finish, just dreadful.
  7. Which I find is the hardest fight of all, I curse my sweet tooth.
  8. If it were the classic line up of the Whats The Story Morning Glory era I`d probably go, but as from what I understand that`s not to be the case I`ll give it a miss. Although musically the later Gem Archer/Andy Bell line-up were good (from what I`ve seen on live clips) to me the classic line up was the best.
  9. Looking at this objectively, I see it much along the lines of that TV show that Gok Wan used to do, 10 Years Younger. It’s just implementing a few things here & there that will shave off a few years without making any actual differences. I wouldn’t do it myself but I see it much the same as wearing a suit/shirt/tie to an interview, it’s preparation to achieve something.
  10. I’d look at some form of Ashdown, any issues and they’ll sort, being UK based makes this a doddle.

Yup, I’ve not used one of these amps yet, though heard a few and they’ve sounded great. But I have used my Warwick Gnome iPro (the 280 watt version). Was into a GK112 cab of some sorts and for onstage volume it was quite amazing, plenty of power and a good rich sound. From now on I think my Gnome will be my regular gigging amp, makes life a lot easier.
  12. A few months back I phoned with an enquiry about a bass, left a message on voicemail, Will called me back within 5 or 10 mins.
  13. With the amount of work you’re putting in I really hope you get this
  14. You’re gonna have one for every day of the week soon Rob (and possibly two for Sunday).
  15. No pics sadly but my weightiest set up was: Marshall DBS7400 amp - 50lbs Marshall VBC412 cab - 108lbs Great sound, but back breaking
  16. As you’re used to Barefaced weight Lee, I’d go for their 410. I had one (and the 210 as well for a modular stack) and it has pretty much exactly what you’ve described. Whilst the Orange cabs sound great (and match) they’re very heavy. I was using the BF with Gallien Krueger amps btw, not Orange.
  17. At 58 I’ve very few lines, maybe a couple round the eyes at most. Most people think I’m younger than I am when speaking to me as that’s at a relatively close distance, but from afar, well bald head, very bad posture due to back, well I’m lucky to look under 60 so that’s how my adoring public see me. As they say, you can’t polish one but you can roll it in glitter. But to answer the original question, while Botox/surgery isn’t necessarily for me how do I quantify my tattoos - a permanent procedure carried out which makes me look different than before, cosmetic surgery possibly?
  18. It`s currently on my radar. I was meant to be visiting Ashdown HQ tomorrow so was hoping to try one out, plans have now changed so may well have to visit PMT in Northampton.
  19. For practical use I’d go for the CMD121 & 121 ext cab - I did in fact have this same rig. Combo for rehearsals & small gigs, both for when more is required. The two together are very good indeed.
