1. Is this still available?
2. Is this the POD 2.0 model? ... looks like a guitar POD from the review ... at least mainly guitar POD. Am I wrong?
3. Exactly what I want!!!! But where do I get the money from? Must speak to higher authorities (wife)! If not, someone should really buy this!!!
4. ... .... I've been playing for a couple weeks just on my 2x10 Epifani and the TD650 and tonight I noticed that when my amp is on (not just on stand by, but fully on) and the volume is on 0 (zero) I can still hear a distorted buzz coming from the cab (mainly from the horn, but not exclusively) if I pick/pluck a string .... is this normal or have I buggered something up? Epifani 2x10 is 8ohm ... if that's got anything to do with it I know this is not a repair section, but it looks like you guys have played around with the EBS gear and Epifani cabs much more, so I thought I'd ask. ... also, I can't tell the difference at all when I turn the drive nob up .... I could with the 4x10 EBS cab!
5. interested in the cabs ... what are you looking for in return? what condition is the kit in?
6. I've looked at the numbers of both 210 and 115 cabs, for both Epi and EBS and yes, there's very little difference in therms of frequencies, responses and other things... fine the speaker is larger and the 'box' is differently constructed, but the differences on the paper are not great. I have tested recently a Hartke rig, 4x10 on it's own and then with a 1x15 + 4x10 and I could actually hear the difference in the low end, so I'm not sure now if I was imagining that or if it does make a difference. I certainly don't want to invest in a 115 and then find out that a) it makes no difference and no one else wants it, so resell value is zilch! Grrrr... 410 is just too big to go in and out of doors and in and out of the car... I'll have to try somewhere 2x210s and see how that feels! Generally though, EBS Neoline cabs or stick with Epifani?
7. UL410 is 30kg which is not bad considering UL210 is 20kg... but it's the size of it that worries me the most ... I'd have to lug it with me all the time, whereas if I had two smaller cabs then I could choose which one to take with me, or take them both.
8. Anyone any opinion on which combination is better suited?
9. Recently I got myself a TD650 head. Before that I bought Epifani UL210 to go with my old combo with a 1x15 speaker - don't ask, that was a weird combination but it sounded rather good). The idea was always that I get lightweight cabs but be able to cover the whole range of frequencies and get a good versatile sound. Since getting the TD650 I got to play it through an EBS ProLine 4x10 cab, which sounded great, but man is it heavy to carry around!!!! This just confirmed my initial thought that I want to go lightweight. Since I'm still in my infancy when it comes to playing the bass I was hoping to get some advice from you guys. Here are the option that I'm considering at the moment: 1. Get a UL115 to go with UL210 I already have - this would be for gigs when I need more power and more sound in general. I have to say I find the UL210 a bit dry and hm, sharp maybe (almost too defined) when run by TD650 on its own. Is an addition of the 1x15 going to make a difference? 2. Sell my UL210 and get EBS Neo cabs 2x10 and 1x15 instead? 3. Something totally different? The idea is to have lightweight gear I can carry around without pulling my back out every time I get it in/out of the boot of my car. I'd like to also have the ability to just take 2x10 or 1x15 cab with me to rehearsals and smaller venues without a great compromise on the sound.
10. Hm, I got one of these about two months back... it's so good that I'd buy another one although I don't need two! Good luck with the sale!
11. Hi Alan, What are the two white looking holes each side of the bridge? Was something modified on the bass? TA David
12. Looks good this ... how heavy is it?
13. Do you teach double-bass too?
14.
In the title mate, £520
Do'h!! Sorry, didn't see it!
15. and the asking price is???
16. slobber slobber ... if I only had the money ....
17. hm, sale has been agreed, am just waiting for the confirmation that everything is ok after exchange ... so I'd say probably no. Will update the topic once I'm sure it's been sold.
18. Thank you all for your comments, it is indeed a very nice combo... but it seems that people are a bit put off by the fact it's not well known in the UK which is a shame ... so ... lets try another BUMP!
19. Thanks dude!! It seems that I could use with some luck right now ... come on people ... price drop to £280 ... or give me an offer at least!
20. BUMP.... should really do this more often I guess.
21. Hello everyone, On sale is my Kustom 210C Groove Bass 600W Combo. I've had it for just over a year and have enjoyed every single bit of it. Unfortunately or fortunately depends how you look at it, I am starting to play more and travel more, and we only have little cars so no space for a big bass amp. I had to downsize, so my Kustom is now for sale. It might not be the most popular in the UK, but it certainly sounds great. It's got a great fat sound with lots of body. I mainly used it at home for practice (I live in a flat, so this amp was a bit of an overkill for that, I'd say) and to play at a local church. It's never been kicked about, played on its max (although it can be if you need to) or anywhere close to it. Generally it's in a great condition, it looks and sounds like new. I'm hoping for £280 for it. You'd have to come pick it up from Bracknell (Berkshire). I would also consider a swap .... depending what you've got to offer. Here are some specs: 600 Watts RMS 2 x 10" Eminence® Drivers 1-inch Compression Horn Variable Horn Attenuator Active/Passive Input Selector Gain & Master Volume Controls 9-Band Active EQ Bass, Mid, High Controls Effects Loop XLR Line Output with Pre/Post EQ Mute/Boost Function 18mm Plywood Cabinet Spring Loaded Handles Mute/Boost Footswitch Included Removable Castors Included Dimensions (mm) HxWxD: 798 x 483 x 508 Weight: 51Kg
22. consulted the manual, it needs 8ohms speaker so that it would get 4ohms in total with the built in 15" cab when connected in parallel.... all in all your speaker will work... right...
23. Hi, I'd be interested in your 2x10 cab if it's still available, but only if someone can confirm that I can use it as an addition to the 7215 300W Trace Eliot combo. The output on the combo says min 4ohms... but I am not sure if your cab can then be plugged in or not... am not a specialist for these things (yet!)
24. Thank you all! Glad there are ppl from all over the place here! @stinson That was not too bad! My Mrs (English) wouldn't dare saying even that much in Serbian in public
