1. Always admired Mike Marshall playing Mandocello.. https://youtu.be/KAMe9pZwogY
2. I just 'pacified' my Fender Miller Jazz, as I never really used the actives anyway. I didn't like the boost only style, and it was too glassy for me up top. It feels great, but I wasn't using it so much. It's now VV (inactive pot) passive T, and the switch is series/parallel. The S/P switching has really bought something out, bit of a volume bump and a more pronounced mid width, which is more useful than the actives were, for me anyway. Horses for courses and all that, but I'm now using it much more.
3. Top job, Nik. My first bash and really enjoyed it. Now I'm gassing for a Wal, though Just back from my own wedding anniversary pie fest, fortunately made it down the A3 in time to throw my cloak over a puddle for Mrs Ninja. Applause X several hundred to all those involved in the organising of a friendly and fascinating day.

Second purchase from Mark; a Markbass stand thingy. Top fella, bombproof packaging, no hassles, just the job...
5. I really Like the 'Tones stuff, solo stuff not so much. I generally appreciate his humility, educational approach and philosophical views. That Miller/Clarke/Wootten thing, though... w*nkery of the highest order. Tones gigs at The Borderline and Shepherds Bush Empire were among the best I've been to. Saw him with brother Reggie, Anthony Wellington et al in Brighton in July and enjoyed it, but wasn't moved in the same way.
6. Looking forward to my first bash! See you all there✌️
7. A very straightforward and easy purchase from Mark, and a bargain too. Arrived next day, very securely packaged. Nice fella to deal with; recommended.

SOLD

PM'd on the Joyo
9. That Silverfoxnik chap implied I was 'distinctive' the other day . I took it as a great compliment, of course, as Nik is a knowledgeable geezer and cool player himself. Best backhanded compliment recently was when a drunk punter slurred that we were the 'best amateur band' he'd ever seen... What type of player am I? Punctual.
10. I got to use Silerfoxnik's Ampeg rig at a gig he organised on Saturday. Very nice and easy to use. Thanks Nik, v generous. He's a gent, by the way. Nik and bandmates got us a very comfortable sound from the off. Sorry not to have been able to stick around for later sets, my lift had to whiz off to another gig...
11. Bought gel pad from Clint to save my aching back. Top bloke to deal with...
12.
Reason for sale - it's a bit bulky for under the stairs and I keep knocking over my father-in-laws ashes every time I get the cab out for a gig
Please accept my condolences. Have a bump for possibly the best 'reason for sale' ever.
13. Bought a pickup from Dan. No hassles, great comms, highly recommended.
14. Mainly reasonable points, but props to Carl for having the cojones to take the trouble to join & reply. With all respect, though, bit grubby to use the opportunity to ask for a discount for all of us.
15. Bought a K&K bass pickup from Kris. No hassles, all good, v pleased. Decent chap and recommended bc'er.
16.
Sad news, the chap running owner Guitar Junction is a really nice chap and is struggling to keep the shop alive in a town with rent as high as Chichester. I would recommend trying GB music in Bognor. Dave is a top bloke and assists greatly in the local music scene.
It's sad that a half-arsed spotty Herbert can jeopardise his employer's business like that. Never been to the Chi shop, doesn't seem much happening there of interest to the bass fraternity. My bro has got decent deals on a Martin and a nice mahogany Taylor there in the last couple of years, mind. +1 for Dave Cox at GB in Bognor. Also, he's a bit of an expert on/collector of Hagstrom guitars & basses if that's your thing...
17. Good vibe to this sale, Steve. Have a bump...
18. Pm'd on the M5
19. Bought Richard's Markbass CMD 121p. All the feedback already on here reflects the ease of the deal. Good comms, bombproof packaging all handled swiftly and without hassle.
20. Nice easy transaction, top quality item, great comms. Many thanks Pete
