1978 USA Fender Jazz - stunning condition
bassface2k10 replied to Lysdexia's topic in Basses For Sale
it's a pity you feel that way - I'm a full time professional photographer. And, if I was so inclined, then those blue elements in the pics would be gone - they are there because I did not close the curtains in the room. And there would be no light reflections or blown highlights - all of which could be photoshopped away. Just a rush job Roon ye. As we say in Scotland.
And a damn fine one you are, have a bump :-) -

I'll be taking my Sanbberg JM4 to tomorrows bass day if anyone wants to try it out you would be more than welcome to put your grubby mitts on it, very heavy bugger with a trying neck, but no neck dive. All the best Chris -
That's the one..... They had a 4 string reduced to £399 by mid-afternoon as apparently it had fallen off the bracket & was damaged! They sold it though. Angie
Yeah i see that, what a bargain.
Well, in a moment of madness at the bass guitar show yesterday I went and bought the classic J model on the Bass Merchant stand. The build quality and finish are excellent especially considering the price. It sounds good too and there's quite a variety of tones avaible. One feature that I like is that instead of the two volume controls and one volume control that you'd find on a standard jazz, there is a master volume, a pickup blend and a tone control. looking forward to rehearsal tonight so I can see how it sounds with the band. Here's some pics
Agreed, lovely bass for sure, great price and by far the best colour, nice buy enjpoy.

Great, sounds like i'm going to have a good day tomorrow then. I like slap when it's played well and with a groove, but don't get the OTT type of players. I think someone else said on this thread "slap doesn't kill people" but "people kill slap" hope i bump into some other BCers, i'll be the one wrapping a bass around the Rotosound mans head by the sound of it

Well after my Daughters buying me Logic Express for Christmas, i thought I'd better give it a go, so here is my first loop, Bass is me playing and guitar is a friend, note: I'm not much of a slap player as I'm still trying to get it down, however i think it turned out ok-ish, more a groove than funk. Also i think i need to learn to mix too :-) @ 88bpm
