1.
I just grabbed one of these amps the other day but has come without the manual. Does anyone out there have a digital copy of the manual they'd please be able to share or possibly scan in a hard copy (big ask I know)? Cheers
If you email Ashdown they will email you one (they did for me). Unfortunately it was more than a dozen JPGs rather than a PDF.
 2. Hi, I'm interested in the N3 jazz pickups, but only really need the bridge position. Are you willing to sell it on its own?
 3. Yes, it will handle any cab or cab combination where the total impededance is 4 Ohms or above.
 4. Fozda bought my EA Wizzy 12 cab. He paid quickly & everything went smoothly. Would be happy to deal with again.
 5. I think it will be fine. I have gigged on guitar with a Line 6 POD HD500 through a Markbass LMK head into a Euphonic Audio Wizzy cabinet & it sounded great. I sent the POD in through the FX return. You could try that or go through the pre if you want some overall EQ control.
 6. Thanks for the comments so far... Doddy, which Genz Benz did you replace? Would be interested to know how they compare, because one or other of the various Genz Benz offerings is on my shortlist too.
 7. Now listed on eBay if anyone would like to bid!
 8. I'm considering buying one of these (either 220 or 550W), but haven't found that much in the way of reviews, either magazine reviews or in the bass forums. There are a few threads it seems, but surpisingly little coverage for what seems on paper like quite a well spec'd head. Any owners (current or previous) care to share their views on these?
 9. ************************************* SOLD ************************************************************ After much deliberation I have decided to sell my Euphonic Audio Wizzy 12" cabinet. It is the 4 Ohm version. It has had a fairly easy life, mainly used for double bass with Big Bands or musical theatre. I am in the process of clearing out some kit I haven't used for a while (so I can buy some more!!). It is in excellent condition overall, however there is a very small dink on the top rear edge. These cabs have a very high sensitivity figure which means you get more volume per watt fed to them than the average cab! It has a small 'handle' on the underside that allows you to tilt the cab back slightly. Asking price £325. I'm in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. Buyer is welcome to collect. I can ship to UK address for £20 (or buyer can arrange their own if preferred). Spec

Configuration: 1x12 bass cabinet
Woofer: Proprietary EA 12"
Tweeter: Integral 'whizzer' cone
Frequency Response: 45Hz to 12kHz
Sensitivity: 103dB @ 1m
Sound Pressure: 126dB @ 1m
Power Handling: 200 watts
Impedance: 4 ohms
Connection Type: Two Speakon connectors
Handle: 2 integrated custom steel handles
Size: 17"H x 17"W x 12.5"D
Weight: 29 lbs
EA Website description "The idea is simple: the less intrusions that get between your instrument and your ears, the more likely you'll hear the sound you create. And that's the principle that started the EA Wizzy revolution. We started with a super-woofer that uses a 'wizzy' high-frequency cone inserted at its center. This eliminates the need for a separate tweeter, crossover and extra wiring - all items that separate you from your sound. What's left is a speaker cabinet in its simplest form. The result is pure bliss - a balance of warmth and accuracy that fits bassists of all shapes and sizes. The Wizzy 12 delivers "fliptop sound for the new millenium." And it might be the best all purpose compact bass speaker cabinet ever made. It easily reproduces the low 'B' on a bass guitar, punches out rock and soul, and reveals all the emotion in your playing. Whether driving an R&B quartet, or a bluegrass quintet, the "12" will be the one you'll take everywhere." EA Website link http://www.eaamps.co...il.asp?REC_ID=5 Photos
 10. I bought it in August 08, but it has led a fairly sedate life (Big Band jazz mainly). It has always been kept in a Markbass gig bag. It also has the (expensive) transformer DI upgrade installed.
 11. Hi Chris, I have a Markbass LMK in excellent condition (was the 2 channel version of the LMII). Would you be interested in a trade? Regards, Jeremy
 12. Was wondering if you have 'pulled the trigger' on anything yet? I've read through the thread - you seem to have tried every head that I have shortlisted - I'm now left in suspense with the Reidmar as the last one! Did you end up buying it? I was initially interested in the Reidmar but had read that it has quite a 'modern' sound, which I didn't think you were looking for.
 13. I had an exchange of emails with Luciano about a year ago. He quoted 9000 Euro to make a similar bass, including shipping to the UK.
