Wow haven't seen one of these for years. I remember the fretless model that had metal "Slap Plates" always wanted one of these....
-
Thanks but no thanks for the TRB...lovely instruments but not my speed.

Got this in a recent trade here on Bass chat. It's a lovely example. One ding (pictured) by the MM pickup. Not the lightest bass but no Steve Harris precision heavyweight either. (No scales here but I'd put it at 9-10 lb) I'm getting rid as I'm very much into playing my plastics at the moment ( im a STATUS man at heart probably because I'm an ex Essex boy). Available for a try at my gaff in West London. Shipping if absolutely necessary. More pics available on demand...Trades for another 5 string welcome . 34" Scale..includes good quality( if a little tatty ) padded gig bag.

Extraordinary colour.... the gold flake matches Lexicon Of Love era ABC's Gold lame suits. All original passive..no mods! The coil tap switch sounds the same in both position which is either a limitation of my hearing or something that needs to be addressed.. weighty as these beasts are known to be and the finish around the pickup is lifting a little (see pics) but if an un-molested 1982 Aria SB is your goal.....you wont find many in this unspoilt condition. the lovely glam colour is a bonus! Shipping possible I'll have to scare up some boxes. It comes with a tatty but serviceable padded gig bag.

Just bought a Warwick Artist series P-nut model from victor. Crystal clear comms and speedy well packed shipping arrangements. A credit to Basschat. Deal with confidence.

Great stuff from this German maufacturer. I have the 1x12 puma Combo its been running faultlessly since 2010 Germanys REAL secret weapon. And Graham is a top geezer to deal with.

I love these basses...Theyre the same as Sting had...Ibanez attracted some stick from the feminists in the early 80's by that staement on the back which said something like ''made by the proud craftsmen of Ibanez'' when it emerged that on the production team there were plenty of women helping build the electronics going into the active circuits. They changed it later i understand...Have a bump for a bargain!

Nah im in Doha Qatar.Shortly after the deal with yourself i got offered a job here. Such is the glamour of TV news. (no guesses who i work for then!) I am going down the road to Abu Dhabi to see the work in progress on the new Star wars films, got a mate who works there...HAVE A BUMP.

Very posh...... a Bosendorfer piano! You can imagine the conversation that set that up: Mum picks up the phone"'ere its some bloke says hes from the BBC asking what Joanna you want tonight" *Chas Giggles* thinks : in for a penny in for a pound, " tell 'em i wanna bosendorfer" "righto" says the producer........ #cantbelievemeluck.com

This was mine at one time. If only I wasn't living in the middle of the desert I may have been tempted to buy this back. Gorgeous. Unlike the Droids in Star Wars this is the BB2000 you are looking for. Simon is a top bloke to deal with too! Craig

Jacobs Crackers /knackers? Who knows? -
Dunno if theyre available anymore but Sheridan A250 is a killer Les paul custom level cheapie. Heres a demo of one :
i bought one for £179 off ebay a year or so ago and it gets played more than my les paul custom that cost 12x the same amount! I think Westfield imported them and they can still be found here and there but reputation has caught up with them and they now go for about twice what i paid for mine. Heres an example (this is not a recommedation for the site but they were the only ones with stock i could find at the time) http://www.drumandgu...0-Black-Beauty/ If you look at the youtube link above he shows the guitar to the camera at the end and you can see the guitar in a more close up way. In summary then, glad the OP has a Tokai but if anyone else is looking for an affordable CUSTOM type Les Paul, Do check out the Sheridan A 250 it punches phenomally above its weight. -

I've just parted - rather sadly but needed the cash for another bass - with an Italia Rimini 12 string. I would imagine this shares many of the characteristics of that guitar which was incredibly well put-together. These are quality and characterful guitars for very little money.
Really? i sold my Ricky 360 12 cos i liked the unique sound of the italia more than the original. It was a bonus that i put £1000 in the bank after buying the italia. Any way enough off topic...OP have a bump on me for a lovely looking example! -
Depends if he says yes or not!
