Bought a set of flatwounds from Richard, arrived the next working day. Faultless, thanks.

https://www.facebook.com/share/DJytK67p6hwQ5CPR/?mibextid=79PoIi Says it’s a squire but the headstock says otherwise. I can see a Wilkinson bridge I think. Is it just a bad paint job?

Love mustangs and have had a few over the years. The vintera is a probably my favourite though, I’m obsessed with the colour. The Mikey Way is a close second, wish I hadn’t sold this a few years back.

I’d love to own this- but pricey for me though. This is super helpful, thanks for digging it out. Interesting to see how the American Performer stacked up against the Mexican PJ too, more expensive doesn’t necessarily = better. -

I’d love to own that one but it’s just a couple of hundred out of my price range. It’s a beaut though -

Thanks, I’m definitely leaning toward the Vintera. I think the AP (even preowned) is out of my price range unfortunately. -

Sorry if this has been answered earlier (there are 91 pages to this thread 🙃) I’m in the market to buy a mustang and my options price-wise are between the Vintera or the MIM PJ. I like the tone options on the PJ but read reviews that it neck dives pretty badly which would be a deal-breaker for me. I had an MIJ mustang a few years back and liked the sound I got from the split coil pickup so I’m currently leaning towards the Vintera. Just posting here in case anyone wants to tell me I’m making a mistake. -

Great condition and lovely to play, selling as my partner and child are moving in and I don't have the space for all my basses now. I've replaced the squire logo with a good quality 60's style Fender logo as I loved the original looking VI's. I think it looks good, I know it's a vanity thing! I think £200 posted is a fair price as I'm looking to sell asap.

Replacement strings arrive from fender however I've opted for la Bella roundwounds. Just had a set up and fret dress and it's sounding and playing fantastically. Couldn't be more pleased with it. The low E is thunderous enough that I'm going to take it to rehearsals this week and leave my jag at home.
FS/FT Value: £40 Looking to shift this amp now as I've just acquired a laney r4 and can't see myself needing this. This is the carpet covered version, as per link below, and in very good general condition- just a few rough patches in the carpet but no tears or stains. Really big sound for such a portable tiny amp and has the capacity to be connected to a separate speaker if that's your thang. Collection from South Manchester, I don't right fancy packing this up and shipping it. Trades- I'm after a bass gig bag or just straight sale. http://www.zzounds.com/item--ASDA8
FS/FT Value: £40 Looking to shift this amp now as I've just acquired a laney r4 and can't see myself needing this. My MP jag is the business, the pups are ridiculously loud, the finish and build is amazing. I've swapped out the stock white pickguard for a custom black one so it's black on black with maple....my favourite.
