I passed on an old bass body I was wanting to get rid of to Dan, he covered postage and his payment was almost instant. Very prompt and polite which is always nice, a pleasure to do business with. Thanks Dan!

Up for sale my Ibanez Jet King, it's the white one with three jazz pickups. I bought this on a whim last year after spying it throught the window of my local guitar shop and doing an quick about turn to investigate further. It's been gigged twice but mainly used for rehearsals but as I have some serious GAS for another Ibanez, this has fallen foul of my one in one out policy. It plays very well, has a nice clean shallow neck and a good action. Just a couple of dings on the bottom near the bridge which I've tried to caputure in the last photo. Specs: Body: Mahogany Hardware Color: Chrome Neck: 3-pc. JTKB4 Maple Fingerboard: Rosewood Inlays: Pearl Dot Frets: 22, Medium Bridge: JTB10 Pickup Neck: PSJ Pickup Middle: PSJ Pickup Bridge: PSJ I paid £280 for it last year from Johnny Roadhouse in Manchester but I'm willing to part with this for £125 delievered or £100 if you'd rather collect from Manchester or Stockport. Sold a neck to Steve, great guy, quick payment and good chats about future builds. What more could you want?

If I've bought or sold with you, let me know what you think.
How wide, deep and long is the neck pocket, please? The neck seems to have sold...
It's 2.5" wide and 0.75" deep. As the neck pocket is on a slant, the right side which is the longest, measures 3.5"and the left 2.75". If you need a close up picture let me know.

I had a great idea about two years ago to strip a Westfield bass I had, give it a new paintjob and put it back together. Two years later and it's still in bits gathering dust, some screws and knobs missing in action. When it was assembled it was a beaut, a cheapo bass that kicked out a really nice punchy tone. My laziness could be your gain. .... First up- solid wood body, nice grain, stripped and clean. I don't know what the wood is. I also have a bag of screws and the back plate which covered the electrics which I'll chuck in. £15 Two black humbucker pickups, wires still attached, plenty of length to play with. Honestly have a lovely sound to them. £15 Black bridge, can't tell you much about this, it was the stock one which came with the bass. Happy to give this away to anyone that wants to cover postage or collect I'd prefer pickup from Manchester or Stockport but could post for a quid or two extra if you wanted to cover postage. Open to offers on anything, just give me a yell! Gem

Thanks for the smallwonder link rockpig, I've not come across that site yet, it looks pretty good. I was hovering over the 'buy' button for those fret stickers but I'm glad I didn't as I found this chap: www.paulcuthbertguitars.co.uk who has quoted me £60 to do the job, apparently it'll take about a week. I'll let you know how it turns out!

Ok, so I've got an Ibby jtkb300 and I'd like to jazz the frets up a bit. I'm after replacing the boring MOP fret dots with blocks similar to the ones on the Jaguar basses but my local guitar tech says that will cost almost the same as the bass! Has anyone done this before, and if so, could you give me some pointers? How easy is it to do? I've also seen this but it looks a bit too good to be true: http://www.inlaystickers.com/servlet/the-7...-Markers/Detail

Hey mate, if it's still going I'll gladly take it off your hands on behalf of a mate who's after a small practice amp. My girlfriend works at the Octagon in Bolton town centre and could meet you if thats good for you?
