1. Cleaning my Fender Elite for the first time since December 2017. Nice and shiny

What is this "cleaning" of which you speak?

2. I'm trading my Squier Vintage Modified Fretless. I would also consider selling but only if this covers the cost of another Bass. Only played a handful of times and unfortunately due to the demand of teaching I need a fretted 4 string bass. I would trade for a Squier precision or jazz bass. The fretboard has slight wear from being played but this is very minimal. Collection available from West Midlands (Birmingham area) or delivery can be arrived. More close-up photos will be added soon.
3. Vinyl always sounds better than digital music. So glad to hear vinyl is making a comeback and most bands now do sell vinyl on their merch stand.
4. Less is more Dynamics are more important than you think The whole is more important than the individual
5. His most recent stuff is actually pretty good. The clip you posted just shows that he has some talent but I agree it's been lost along the way. If this guy actually practised and remained humble I think he'd make an amazing musician as that drum solo wasn't bad at all. I've seen better drummers obviously but he's doing a bang up job (pun)
6. I think I've got the CD as I've got the transcription book. Drop me a message and I'll see if I can get the track over to you.
7. The Ibanez fan fret Basses are amazing. I've got an SR605 myself but I have a special place in my heart for the fan frets. That little bit of extra scale length makes a massive difference (IMO)
8. If my schedule works out I'll be there.
9. I made it through. I sold some non essential gear that I won't miss and kept the beautiful Sandberg bass. My Bass is safe for another year I think.
10. I used to have Fender Modern Player Jazz V but I couldn't get on with it. Always seemed hard work compared to my Sandberg. Exactly. I know as soon as I sell it I'll miss it. It's been my gigging bass for the last 4 years so it's definitely sentimental. Here's to holding on for better times. Although I keep looking at all those Dingwall basses in the Bass for Sale section.
11. Someone talk me out of selling my Sandberg 5 string TM bass. Money is a bit thin at the minute and I can't shake the sell my bass feeling. Words of encouragement much appreciated
12. Brought the Darkglass Super Symmetry pedal from jtotheltotheo and it came as described. Well packaged, well protected and it arrived the following day (although I missed the delivery). Top lad.
13. Who's had any experience with Rockschool (now re-branded as RSL Awards), Trinity, LCM or any other musical exam body. I'm asking more in a teaching context for students more than personal study or taking the exam yourself. My personal favourite is Rockschool but I do have a few students using Trinity.
14. If the solo is melodic and not just a thousand notes a second then yes but once the technical side takes over and it's just bass or slap shred then I switch off.
15. Just a few photos from various giggings I've done throughout the years. I'm specifically targeting those photos which include epic bass faces or bass poses. Apparently I'm known for throwing some interesting shapes while gigging so these photos pretty much sum it up.
