I will double check actually - I had swapped out a few tubes at some point, and had greatly preferred the sound of an old Philips 12ax7. That tube is definitely not still in the Finally, but I will double check what I put in there. Either way I am happy to include a couple of tubes for people to experiment with themselves. I certainly wouldn't claim either is "better". I find the 12ax7 to typically be warmer, and give me a bit more control over saturation/breakup (which I imagine is due to the relationship of the gain pot taper, and the more present saturation starting earlier in the pots range of travel), whilst the 12au7 is cleaner, clearer, and tighter. I will ensure it has the original 12au7 installed, but include a 12ax7 in the sale as well.

Here is an unique beast - the Plasma Pedal from Gamechanger Audio. Capable of some really interesting fuzz and distortion tones, that sound like time and space are being ripped apart, or just a little bit of texture. Great sounding and flexible EQ. Can get seriously velcro-y, and due to its operation is always gated, and introduces no unwanted noise. Perfect in synth bass signal chains with octaves and filters. Very responsive and dynamic. Price includes P&P.

Here is the simply incomparable Moog MF-101 Filter pedal. Sounds incredible and wonderfully flexible, yet easy to use. This is one of two I own, otherwise it would be staying with me. It can quack, it funk, and it can dub. In great working order. No original packaging or power supply, but I do have the correct plug adapter which will work with whatever your pedal power supply of choice should be. Price includes P&P.

Here is a tasty pedalboard friendly Tube DI from Sushi Box. This sounds great, and is a wonderful and tasty sounding DI for integrating in to any pedalboard setup. Nice and straight forward to use, and always sounds great. Price includes P&P Comes with original box/packagin/stickers...etc.

Here's an old DOD FX10 Bi-Fet Preamp. In perfect working order, and comes with the power plug adapter to work with whatever 9v pedal power supply you use. Great sounding preamp pedal - famously capable of some earth shaking bass boost thanks to it's tasty tilt eq "Tone" control. Perfect pedal for some special sauce or for rumbling bass boost. Also sounds wonderful on acoustic guitar (as originally designed for), as well as all manner of other sound sources. Price includes P&P.

Yeah - the versatility of setup is hugely useful. The Pre and Post DI's, and the fx loops are all super helpful with routing flexibility and options. One of those devices that allows most questions and problems to be met with a yes, which is always a great thing.

For Sale is the Add Violence Fuzz pedal from JPTR FX. This fuzz is INSANE! One of the best super fuzz style pedals I have used. JPTR FX included both a bass boost and clean blend in to this pedal, making it an absolute beast with bass. It's a huge and brutal sounding fuzz, that can also approach some amazing synth-y tones with an octave pedal and lower gain settings. Tone control sweeps from mid cut to mid boost, and the pedal will tear through the mix, no matter the setting. JPTR FX don't appear to be making these currently, so this is a great chance to get this beast of a fuzz. For Sale is a Jive Saturator Overdrive pedal from JPTR FX. Great sounding pedal - designed to capture some of the vibe of the preamp in an old Akai Reel-To-Reel machine. Shares a lot in common with the ZVex SHO circuit, though with some tweaks and more clipping options. Super versatile and useful pedal; happy to be that always-on magic you've been looking for, or can be used as a more classic overdrive style device. Plays well with others and is happy to be put anywhere in the signal flow to help add grit and character. Inherently adds some great presence and vibe, and is really hard to turn off. For Sale is a Blackstone Mosfet Overdrive/Distortion pedal. Selling as I have multiples of this pedal, and don't currently require them all. This is my favorite overdrive pedal, and I pretty much run it always on for some light saturation and character, with the second (red) channel available for proper push and drive. The design and general aesthetic of this pedal is wonderful, and the ability to have two channels in such a small form factor, as well as having settings be completely travel proof is an incredible achievement. For sale is a delightful and deeply modded Fender Jaguar Bass CIJ. £750 Can facilitate local pickup in Belfast, and can also arrange delivery/courier - likely another £50-£70. Let me know address so I can arrange a quote. This bass plays like a dream, and has a huge range of tonal options available. Firstly, the active electronics are long gone, and the controls on the upper horn are currently disconnected (perfect "producer" switch and knobs for the Lee Solar fans out there!). I have also installed a fleet of Nordstrand pickups: a pair of 51J4S pickups in the 70's jazz bass pickup positions, and a Nordenbocker at the neck. These are attached to the three switches which follow a MusicMan Big Al style switching: when all three pickups are off/down then you have the two 51J4S pickups in parallel for huge punchy tones (I usually live here), you can then engage the other pickups by switching up/on for each pickup - you then only have the pickups that are "on" passing signal. So you can have any combina6ion of the 3 pickups solo or together in parallel. The 51J4S pickups capture the 51 single coil P bass pickup vibe, sort of like a woodier J pickup, with a certain bark and top end openness that I love. They are also setup as hum bucking split coils for zero noise. The neck pickup is Nordstrand's take on a Rickenbacker pickup, and it sounds wonderful. Rich, deep, and "plummy". It sounds great on it's own, and I most regularly find myself switching between this pickup solo, or the two jazz pickups in series, which only requires the movement of one switch. Combining the neck with other pickups opens up some very interesting sounds, that to me recall some classic 60s tones - think Serge Gainsbourg, and burns style basses. I alos have a chepa Humbucking Rickenbacker Toaster style pickup which I will throw in, in case some want s a full humbucking pickup setup. Worth noting that I originally had a Fender WRHB style pickup in the neck, and as such there is a bit of a "swimming-pool" route under the pickup, which would let you look at installing a Bi-Sonic or mud bucker style pickup at the neck for those that enjoy tinkering and modding. I have the bass strung up with Fender Flats which compliment everything perfectly for me, though chuck some rounds on the bass and it will snarl and grow like the beast it is! There is a Hispshot D-Tuner for easy access to drop tunings, and a sleek custom Black pick guard - I also have a yellow/black "wildcat" pick guard I will include in the sale. Lastly, I upgraded the bridge to Fender's hi mass type, which really helped open up the voice of this bass. I will include the original vintage style bridge in the sale. This bass has served me incredibly well in numerous studio recordings, and for years touring the world. I am hoping it finds a fun new life in a new home. It bears a few marks, and dings which I will try and capture better with photos. Please let me know if you have any questions or want any more photos.
