  1. I am letting go of my much cherished 1975 Gibson Ripper, with a factory fretless neck. Not particularly common and an absolutely wonderful sounding and playing instrument, with a gorgeous Ebony finger board and sunburst finish. The neck is in good shape, with some playing wear but certainly lots of life left in it. It comes with the original hard shell case. Controls are Volume, Tone, and Mid control, which allow for a wide variety of sounds. The pickup selector chooses between Both Pickups in Parallel, Bridge Pickup, Both Pickups in Series, Both Pickups out of Phase (this may seem a little pointless, but I have found to be a really useful setting when paired with octave and synth effects - it seems to boost the octave tracking and depth from synths like the EHX micro synth and EQD Bit Commander). I purchased the Bass back in 2015 and since it has lived in my home studio and only used for recording. It has wear as you would expect from a 44 year old instrument, most notably a bit wear and some slight warping in the pick guard and the chips at it's screw fixings by the neck (seen clearly in photos). The electronics and hardware are all in good working order. It is missing the original bridge cover, otherwise all original hardware is present and correct. I can ship this if I need to - likely within £75 for shipping and insurance, though collection would be ideal. I can facilitate collection in either Belfast or London, and will be driving from Belfast to London (through Scotland and down) at the end of July, so will be covering a fair part of the UK so could also arrange an exchange around that. Here are a few photos - I can arrange more for particular details if required:
  2. Open to offers on these.
  3. A bunch of these are still available
  4. I'm open to sensible offers of money and trades with this.
  5. Found a short scale Dano elsewhere so this is now for Sale.
  6. Looking to sell my 2009 Danelectro '63 Long Scale bass. - £180 The bass has been used extensively for both touring and recording work - and always sounds fantastic. Just find myself wanting a short scale variant more for my uses. as such it wears a number of chips and dings to the paintwork, but this is all superficial and in no way hinders the functions of the bass. All hardware, electronics, truss rod...etc are in perfect working order. Photo below (let me know if you need more) - wearing tapewounds in the photo, though currently strung with D'addario NYXL rounds: Additionally, here is a brief sound clip of it: https://www.instagram.com/p/BoWqwMFAX7-/?utm_source=ig_web_options_share_sheet
  7. Bump for updated sale list and some photos.
  8. So there have been a few interested parties and offers, and I had some second thoughts about it - however, the bass remains available. I've added a couple more photos, including some from the build process and some of Kevin's proper shots from it's completion.
  9. Gorgeous bass - where is it located?
  10. In good working order, with velcro (hook) attached tho the bottom. Currently located in Belfast. Add £5 for postage within the EU. DOD FX32 Meatbox (w/ original box, & power supply adaptor) - £220 £200 Looking to reduce the collection so not interested in trades at this point. There are a few photos here; let me know if you want/need more detailed photos.
  11. Apologies for not getting pictures sorted - currently out of the country, but will endeavour to sort pictures quick-sharp when I'm back. Also thought I'd add a few trade options, ideally p/x, that could tempt me (drop me a DM and we can sort the details): Basses - Peavey T-40, EGC Basses/Necks, Rickenbacker. Amps - Ampeg B15, Sunn Model T, Acoustic 360 / 370. Other bits - Tonecraft 363 DI, Roland 501 Chorus Echo.
  12. I’ll sort more pictures tomorrow.
  13. For Sale is my incredible Travis Bean Designs TB2000. It was one of the first built by Kevin Burkett of EGC back at the start of 2016, and as such has serial number #2000: with a "0" stamped on the headstock. This bass is capable of a remarkable range of tones from warm and thumpy to very harsh tones, all very response to playing style and dynamics. Played with a pick and with the bridge pickup this thing absolutely roars! Switching to the front pickup and fingers and you can get some wonderful sub-y sounds. A truly unique playing experience. The best is currently based in London. Collection would be preferred, but can arrange courier if needed at the buyers' expense. - 70’s style Travis Bean - Trans Black finish over African Mahogany. - SKB iSeries flight case (big peli case style). - Strap locks and comfort strap included.
  14. For sale is an absolutely superb '52 Reissue Telecaster from Fender. Made in the USA in the year 2000 this Instrument channels those classic telecaster tones. - 3 Saddle Bridge (optional 6 saddle included) - Black Bakelite Pickguard - Trans Butterscotch Blonde Finish - Classic Strap w/ Schiller Straplocks Having been well loved and played, this guitar is setup to play like a dream, and still has plenty of life left in the frets. Comes with OHSC, an additional 6 saddle bridge, as well as the optional bridge cover. Has one ding/dent/mark on the lower part of the guitar by the controls, and showing the general wear you'd expect from a well played guitar of 18 years. This guitar is currently based in Watford, UK - can either arrange pickup from there or alternatively shipped at the buyer's expense.
  15. This is still available if anyone is in need of a lovely preamp!
  16. Are interested in any trades at all?
  17. Bass On Hold - pending all the usual. Thanks to everyone for the interest and offers.
  18. Looking at a trade (or possible sale) for my Fender Tony Franklin signature Fretted bass in Olympic White. Fantastic bass that has seen many a stage and studio in the 4 years that it's been in my possession. Great balanced pair of PJ pickups selectable by a 3 position blade switch, and all controlled by singular volume and tone controls. Also fitted with a Hipshot D-Tuner. Comes with original hard case, and optional White or Black pickup cover for the Jazz pickup. Currently strung with Dunlop Flatwound strings 45-105 gauge. The Bass is currently located in Watford - collection or meet up would be ideal, but can arrange postage/courier if needed. PICTURES ADDED Ideally looking to trade for a Stack Knob Jazz bass - Flea Signature, Limelight, Nash, Fender RI all considered.
  19. Still a few pedals left - open to offers and trades. Particularly interested in modulation or time-based effects. Filters or synth-y pedals would be considered too... or a decent Jazz pickup set.
