1. Bought a pedal from Iana, nice smooth easy transaction, exactly as it should be. cheers, ian, all the best
2. Right, sorted it. As I was looking through the viewfinder I realised that the middle pots earthed leg (bent over and soldered to the casing) wasn't actually a very good joint, resoldered and hey presto, sorted. thanks for your help anyway guys
3. I have done a bit of fiddling with my jazz bass, its got a pair of Bartolini pickups in it and arrived with active circuitry. Im not a fan and after purchasing a standard jazz control plate and pots have converted it back to passive. I rewired it to this diagram http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=std_jazz_bass and what ive ended up with is the two volume pots don't go completely to silent when turned anti-clockwise, and the tone pot is acting as not only a tone but also a volume? What have I done wrong?? cheers
4. that looks absolutely stunning, well done old chap

9. Grangur and his mate Gary mac went out of their way to pick up a 'collection only' ebay purchase, package it to with in an inch of its life, and then post on to me for no financial reward to them whatsoever, just helping a forumite out. Im over the moon! There can be no more finer and praiseworthy feedback than for this, a mighty fine gesture from 2 mighty fine basschat users. many thanks guys

11. I just pulled my bridge off . perhaps I slapped em a bit too hard. I wonder if I slap the shart out of the missus if she'll come up like new too? :/
12. good good, thoroughly enjoyed the last one. You have great attention to detail blablas, just what's needed in a bass builder. Do you keep all your basses for yourself?
13. Lovely bass, the Flamboyant is just a gorgeous shape, itd probably look good made from an onion crate. The luxury woods are a bonus
14. Anybody else get this? It happens at seemingly random times, and is the only website (that I view anyway) that seems to do it. Its only started doing it this last 7 days or so tho Also sometimes it can be cured by just shutting that particular tab, other times it spanners the whole thing and needs restarting. I use IE 10 btw. <Pre-empting obvious comments mode>No thank you, I know im in a minority, but it has and does work just fine for me at all other times, I have no desire to use Chrome/Firefox/whatever </>
15. just as an aside, you look b*gger all like your avatar :/
