  1. It is @kevham, but i've got three other precision style basses, including a Bruce Thomas Bass Centre P which is also up for sale, so sadly it's surplus to my requirements.
  2. Bump & price drop to £1300. Reasonable offers considered.
  3. Thanks for you input @Happy Jack, i suppose like everything it's going to come down to personal preference going forward. As mentioned by a number of basschatters the build quality of the Lull's are second to none, so it would be criminal for it to sit in it's gig bag in my music room when someone else could get enjoyment from it.
  4. I play in a general covers three piece, ( singer / guitarist, drummer, bass player ). We cover anything from The Beatles, Squeeze, Elvis Costello to Stereophonics, James, Oasis etc. My mainstay has been a USA Fender Precision. I like the clarity & build of the Lull, & to honest i'm not sure if the audience really care what i'm playing, but i'm wondering if the Precision is a better fit listening through my IEM's on stage, or if just a case of me having to get used to a slightly more forward sound coming through my in ears.
  5. They are indeed Chris, although you're not helping my indecision 😂 I know if i let it go the chances of seeing another lefty would be extremely slim, if not impossible on the second hand market. I've read on here that you & @Happy Jack have your Lull's strung with flatwound strings, i'm wondering if that's the way forward 🤔
  6. It is @JohnR, i'm in two minds whether to let it go or not 🤔
  7. My lefty Mike Lull PJ4
  8. Just as update for @rasher80 & anyone else who maybe interested. Really loving my Bruce Thomas Profile, i've been alternating it with my Mike Lull PJ4 & it's really holding it's own against the Mike Lull. My band mates really love how punchy it is, & when my wife first heard it at a gig she commented how good it sounded. I'm loving both of them, so i'm now taking them out to gigs, & my Fender P is consigned in it's case under a bed. I've added some links to Youtube video's so you can hear how it sounds in a band mix ( best heard through headphones ). The last video is a compilation from our gig on Saturday where i playing the Mike Lull so you can compare. I'm playing through a Genzler Magellan 800 head & Barefaced Supertwin.
  9. I've mentioned it so thought I'd better post a few photos of my recently acquired lefty Mike Lull PJ4 😊
  10. Sadly we've had to cancel a couple of gigs so it hasn't seen any real world gig action yet, but held it's own at a recent rehearsal. I've seen that the price of them has gone up to £645, an increase of £50 on what I paid in February. Not sure how much action it will see in the future though as I've just got my hands on a second hand Mike Lull PJ4, so it may end up down the pecking order for future gigs 🤔
  11. Hi, Looking at selling my Sandberg TM4 ( HCA ) in Roquefort Blue, as i've got my eye on something else ( GAS i know 😂 ). I purchased the bass last summer, & it's been gigged but now i'm find myself grabbing my P bass all the time for gigs as it fits in the sound of the band i'm in....or it's just the bass sound in my head. The neck on the Sandbergs are brilliant, & this one comes with the addition of an ebony fingerboard & abalone notes. The bass come with it's Sandberg gig bag. Weight approx 4.2kg Price amended to £1350 ono Only looking to sell in the UK, & collection preferable, but if necessary a courier can be arranged at buyers expense / risk. I am also willing to meet up within a reasonable distance of the Middlesbrough / Teesside Thanks
