  1. I've purchased a new Markbass Little Mark 58R head last week, so i thought i'd give it a run out through that. First time i've played it in a few weeks & it sounded sweet at bedroom volume through the Markbass ( into a Barefaced cab ). Got a full PA practice tomorrow, so going to give it another go with the band 🙂
  2. Cheers @JohnR it is a lovely bass, but sadly it's just sitting in a case gathering dust. I've got a Precision Pro 1 in Olympic White with a tort pickguard, & rosewood fretboard, which has re-established itself as my number one bass. I don't know what it is, whether it's the rosewood fretboard or the pickups, or i'm generally used to how it sounds but it seems to fit in better with the three piece i play in. I'm on the lookout for something different, perhaps a Jazz in Olympic white to complement my Precision.
  3. Final price drop to £1150. I'll keep it at that price for a couple of weeks, & see what happens. If there's no interest i may look at hanging onto it until the market picks up a bit.
  4. @kevham Sadly it appears that in the present climate sales, especially of left hand instruments, have dried up
  5. Hi, I'm looking at moving on my left handed Fender American Precision Professional 2 ( 2021 ) purchased from GAK in December 2022. The bass comes complete with it’s hard case & case candy, & is currently fitted with dunlop strap locks, although the original strap locks will be included. I have gigged the bass for the last 5 months or so, & condition wise it's still in excellent condition. The only mark i can see on it is a small indentation on the headstock which i've photographed. The original ( mint coloured ) pickguard also has a couple of marks around the truss rod opening. NB just noticed a hairline crack in the original mint pickguard near to the jack input ( photo added ). The bass is currently fitted with a black pickguard, but the original mint one is also included in the sale. Only looking to sell in the UK, & collection preferable, but if necessary a courier can be arranged at buyers expense / risk. I am also willing to meet up within a reasonable distance of the Middlesbrough / Teesside area. Thanks for looking.
  6. Cheers Alan, it certainly is. I think i've just been used to playing Precision's for too long now. I always seem to use my Fender P at gigs lately, think i've just got used to the P being my bass sound over the years, especially in the three piece in play in at the moment. To be fair nothing seems to selling at the moment, so i may give it another run out 🤔
  7. Hi, I've decided to stick with my Aguilar DB599 micro compressor on my pedal board, so i have my Keeley Bassist Compressor & TC Spectracomp up for grabs (see seperate for sale ad) It's been on my pedal board so there's velcro on the bottom but other than that it’s in excellent condition and comes in it's original packaging with the manual etc. A fantastic and very transparent compressor, very easy to use with automatic attack/release paramaters and lots of boost available, just surplus to requirements at the moment. Price includes UK second class tracked postage or collection from the Teesside area and I’ll knock £5 off for the postage.

  9. Hi, I was wondering if you could possible unlock a thread for me. It's the latest one in the lefthanded basses for sale forum i started yesterday titled "L/H Sandberg California 2 TT4 passive with gig bag - £900 - *WITHDRAWN*" I hadn't realised the threads automatically close now, & i want to put it back up for sale. I populate with some details once it's been opended. Sorry for any inconvinience. Thanks Graham
  10. Hi, I have a Barefaced Super Compact cab ( generation 3 ) which has now become surplus to requirements. I bought this cab in December 2019 off a fellow basschater @Andy Vincent It's been gigged in the past, but since upgrading to a super twin it's been sitting in a corner of my music room unused. The cab is the metal grilled front version, & comes with a Hot Covers cover. It is a good condition with a few minor chips as highlighed in the attached photographs. Full specifications can be seen on the Barefaced website. For sale in UK only i'm afraid, with collection from the Teesside area preferred. Thanks for looking
  11. Hi, I'm looking at moving on my left handed Sandberg TT4 passive in gloss black. The bass comes complete with it’s original gig bag, & is fitted with dunlop strap locks ( will include the strap attachments ), although the original strap locks will be included in the sale should you wish to refit them. The bass was purchased from Bass Direct at the beginning of the year & has been gigged. Condition wise it’s in a good condition. The only things I can see is a slight indentation to the headstock, & a very small indentation to the bottom of the back of the neck which is the size of a pin head. I've included photo's of both of these. The bass has black label pickups, & like all new Sandberg basses has been has been pleked prior to being sent out. Here are the full specs taken from the Bass Direct website, https://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Sandberg_TT4_Black_LH.html Only looking to sell in the UK, & collection preferable, unless you want to arrange you own courier. I am also willing to meet up within a reasonable distance of the Middlesbrough / Teesside area. Trade wise i could be interested in a P or PJ configuration bass or a Musicman Stingray ( not Sterling ). Thanks for looking.
  12. Joined the Sandberg club during the week with this left handed Sandberg California TT4. Gigged with it last night, sounded a lot punchier than the Fender Jazz I previously owned. Loving the neck profile which somewhere between a P bass & Jazz bass. It makes two hour plus gigs so much more enjoyable. One happy chap 😀
  13. Hi, I'm looking at moving on my left handed Fender American Professional Jazz in Sonic Grey The bass comes complete with it’s hard case, & is fitted with dunlop strap locks ( will include the strap attachments ), although the original strap locks will be included. Condition wise the bass is in VGC, although it has been gigged. There is a small indentation on the top of the fretboard around the 8th fret, thanks to an over exuberant punter knocking over a microphone stand onto me at a gig, although it's barely noticeable & doesn't effect the playability of the bass. There is also a small indentation on the pick guard cover at the truss rod opening. I've included photo's of both of these. Weight wise it’s coming in at 3.9kg on a set of bathroom scales. Only looking to sell in the UK, & collection preferable. I am also willing to meet up within a reasonable distance of the Middlesbrough / Teesside area. Thanks for looking.
  14. Hi, I'm looking at moving on my left handed Musicman Sterling 4H. The bass was manufactured in November 2020, & I purchased the bass from Thomann's in January 2021. When I received the bass I discovered that the phantom coil had come away from the bottom of the pickup. I emailed Strings & Things & received a replacement pickup from EBMM a few weeks later. In the meantime I glued the original pickup which has remained intact, however the replacement pickup will be included in the sale. The bass comes complete with it’s hard case, which hasn't left the house as i use a mono gig bag, & is fitted with dunlop strap locks ( will include the strap attachments ), although the original strap locks will be included. Condition wise the bass is in VGC, although it has been gigged. It has a small indentation to the headstock & small marks on the upper part of the body. I’ve included photographs of these. Weight wise it’s coming in at 4.1kg on a set of bathroom scales. Only looking to sell in the UK, & collection preferable. I am also willing to meet up within a reasonable distance of the Middlesbrough / Teesside area. Thanks for looking. 15. Withrawn from sale. Please lock
  16. Back up for sale....yeah i know....i used to be indecisive once, but now i'm not too sure 😂
  17. Withdrawn from sale - I've been having a re-think about putting this bass up for sale. Knowing that left handed USA Sterling's are rarer than hens teeth i'm going to give it a few more gigs & then see how i feel about it after that, rather than suffering a bout of sellers remorse.
